New MM2H Info
I received an an email from a MM2H Agent located in Penang. Hopefully more info to come:

.Hope all has been well. The Ministry of Tourism has announced the new MM2H requirements. There are 3 options :
Silver - FD : RM500,000, visa duration : 5 years
Gold -FD: RM2,000,000, visa duration : 15 years
Platinum - FD: RM5,000,000, eligible to apply for PR (Permanent Resident) after getting the MM2H visa.
Applicant age – 30 and above
Must stay at least 60 days every year in Malaysia
FD: Fixed deposit in a bank in Malaysia when the approval is obtained. 50% can be withdrawn for healthcare and property purchase in Malaysia.
Silver and Gold MM2H visas are renewable.
These are the initial requirements for now. We are still waiting for more details. We expect and hope the details like liquid assets and income requirement will be announced within the next few days. We will continue to update you when we have more information.
For those who are already on MM2H, you are not impacted. You still use the old conditions that you have used during application.

Malaysian Digital Arrival Card - You don't have to fill in (For MM2H participants) but around the time frame of implementation (1st Jan 2024), we suggest you fill in for any "just in case". So, if you travel between 21-12-2023 till 07-01-2024, please fill in.
Immigration autogates are available for MM2H at KLIA/KLIA2. However, you need to register first. For Penang airport, you can inquire at the airport. The last time we know it was not implemented was because Penang airport was too small. However, you can use the Malaysian lanes if the queue is too long.
