Will my own Birth Cert suffice for passport?
My father was born in Ireland (still lives there in Mayo), I myself was born in the UK (Although I lived in Ireland for a while following my birth). I'm now a Permanent Resident of the US but am looking to apply for my first Irish passport, I know I don't need to apply for the Foreign Birth Registry because I am already an Irish citizen through my father. Now my question is in order to apply for the passport do I need his birth cirt (I'm not in contact with him so this would be hard). Obviously on my own Birth Certificate he's on there and his country of birth says 'Irish Republic', will my own Birth Certificate suffice as he is on there?

The advice you were given before hasn't changed. You'll still need your father's full birth certificate. Order it from here: Online User Application - Development Certificates
