No problem, all info here.... I don't think you will need pet passports,

If you want to import a dog, cat or ferret into Ireland from any EU member state including the UK, the pet animal must have an EU Pet Passport, (this document is the same throughout the EU). However, as there is no indigenous rabies in the UK or Ireland, there will be no compliance checks on pets travelling between the UK and Ireland.

Ferries have kennels on them or you can leave them in the car if you wish.
No one checks anything about them.

Re: Can we bring our dogs?
Thats really helpfull, thankyou so much.
We do harness both of them so we are in full control of them at all times (they are both very sweet loving dogs but because of the shear size and power of them we dont take any chances)
We will deff invest in muzzles tho, cant risk loosing either of them!

banned list with certain exemptions, bit of a grey area.

When we moved from ROI to France via Brittany Ferries we were instructed that all dogs were required to be on a lead and wearing a muzzle at check in/out. We duly purchased said muzzle for our collie x terrier. Believe me there were allsorts wandering around 'sans' muzzles!

So sad that some idiots have made it so bad for these dogs. Strongly believe theres no such thing as a bad dog, just bad owners.
How did your dog cope with the crossing??
