Hello,
I'm a Swedish born 20 something residing in Canada and I would like to
learn Swedish.
I just returned from Sweden, visiting family. I want to watch Swedish
television in Canada
with subtitles to learn Swedish. I made some recordings off the
television in my families
place, but I would like live video with the subtitles domestically.
I bought some dvds with
subtitles, Beck and Wallander. SVT has streaming video from the
archives but much of it
does not have subtitles. I have found links for Swedish radio
however.
I already own the Berlitz/Pimsleur/Rosetta Stone/Dover/Teach Yourself
courses that are available,
but would like to watch Swedish tv.
Does anyone know of an affordable and effective way to get Swedish
local/national tv in
your home in Canada?
Thanks for your help.

Det finns text för ganska mycket av SVT produktion men man måste ofta
anvÀnda text-tv funktionen som ett tillÀgg till bilden
