BBC- Commission outlines BAA inquiry

"The Competition Commission (CC) says its study into the market
domination of airport operator BAA will focus on the firm's level of
customer service.
While the CC said it was aware BAA has faced extensive criticisms,
especially over Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted, it maintained an open
mind at this stage."

I think that the criticism against Heathrow is getting to crisis point.,
and well-deserved from all accounts. I suspect they're not employing
enough people. I haven't used a London airport since I lived there.
Well, a trip from Luton to Cyprus in 2004...

It must be the first year in the last decade that Schiphol/KLM hasn't won the
lost luggage prize.

lost luggage prize.

That's one side of things, certainly. I'm surely not the only one who
doesn't mind transferring at Schiphol though. It's bright, plenty of
seats. I could do without the cigarette smoke, but nothing's perfect...

That's one side of things, certainly. I'm surely not the only one who
doesn't mind transferring at Schiphol though. It's bright, plenty of
seats. I could do without the cigarette smoke, but nothing's perfect...

You haven't fully experienced air travel until you have been savaged by the
rotweilers that KLM employ for lost luggage enquiries.
