Ask him to find Missouri on a map. After all, it is about as large and
populous as Switzerland, and it shouldn't be any more difficult to
memorize 50 US states than it is to memorize 50 European countries..
But no excuse for CNN, though, *they* should know!

But CNN is based in Atlanta, Georgia - it's in the US South so that is the
problem right there...it's ignorance combined with an extreme lack of
sophistication.

Yeah, just look at Jimmy Carter (U.S. President, Nobel Peace Prize
winner) or Martin Luther King.
I think you are over-generalizing.

Good grief, the man's been out of office for an entire term. The
neocons will be blaming him for things for decades after he dies. If
they could I'm sure they find a way to blame him for WWI, WWII, Korean
War, the Great Depression, and the Alamo....etc., etc.
Give it up - it's getting old....

Oh, he knows quite a lot. He knows France and Germany are worthless
as allies. He knows France and Russia are constantly on the take from
the Saddams of the world while pretending to be holier than thou. He
knows Europe is useless in solving the major disasters of the world
including those like Bosnia on their own soil. He knows that the
European sense of justice is trials like Milosovic's which has been
bumbliing on know for over three years and even has his own lawyer
know wanting to resign because of the ridiculous manner in which this
trial has been conducted yet they would like to have the ability to
treat US soldiers the same way. He knows the likes of Belgium thinks
it has an unilateral right to try people for so called crimes not
committed anywhere near their sorry little spot on earth. He knows
the French babble on about the UN all while having invaded African
countries over 30 times since 1960 without once having gone to the UN
on a single one and all unilaterally. He knows Europe's inept
multilateralism is a complete flop in Iran where they are being given
the finger by the Imams over nuclear energy which they direly need
since they only have some of the largest oil and gas reserves in the
world but are somehow short or energy. I could go on and on but this
should be enough for even a pinhead like you to get some idea of how
that quaint little group of morons outside the continental USA as you
put it actually operate in practice. That is, when they are not
writing 80,000 pages of EU law to foist on their citizens and 300 page
constitutions.

No, that is an appellation reserved for the French so no one will
mistake them for real human beings.
