I regarded it as the joke it was obviously intended to be. (Or is "irony" not in your

You should go to Tokyo. The Tokyo urban area alone holds almost as many people as
California, which is larger in area than all of Japan.
Or go to England: A third the size of California, but a third more people.
Btw, Finland is smaller than California.

What is it... 40 million in the immediate area around Tokyo city and 80million in the
wider area?
