One would expect google would deliver tons of stuff? At least if one searches with
the proper Spanish name.

Just use the Spanish in a Yahoo or similar search engine : 'santiago compostela' and you get hundreds

Look up Santiago de Compostella in Google, I did, and there are many sites to peruse
whether you can read Spanish or not. Saint Jacques de Compostelle is the French name
so you are not likely to find anything with that in a search. Enjoy the results.

Why would you think that there would not be any information under the French name?
Part of the route *is* in France afterall.

Google brings up plenty...most of it useless. I suspect the original poster was
looking for the official site (which is fairly well known to those interested in this
route). It has been posted.

Try www.cjs.org.uk/index.html and http://home.wxs.nl~marlaine/santiago.htm. The best
book is: "A Practical Guide for Pilgrims" by Millan Bravo Lozano. It's available in
Spanish and English and, I would imagine, French. If you're interested in doing the
french part as well, let me know.
