I was up in Finnmark County in Norway in May and we had whiteout
conditions one day followed by sunny and warm(ish) weather the next.

place called Vemdalen which is in the highlands of Härjedalen in Central
Sweden.

We had the same in N Yorks briefly at the end of March.

This is not uncommon in the NE USA. Once, we had a severe snow storm in
early April, and I mean severe- traffic stopped for a couple of days-
kids skiing on the streets. A few days later it was warm, and the snow
disappeared...

... it was the sunny and warm(ish) weather that was brief. It lasted about an

One day in May or June (of a previous year) it snowed on
a cricket match in Buxton.
