Hotel Alcantara is in the Santa Cruz zone within minutes walk of the
cathedral. It's on a car free narrow road and is modern and clean. rooms are
on the small side and views from windows are non existent but the location
is excellent for exploring. Price is not too high either. They do have their
own website which is http://www.hotelalcantara.net/
I only stayed one night and was very pleased, however for longer periods you
may find the rooms a bit small for relaxing.

We liked the Hotel Simon last year; only one block from the
Cathedral, very nice room, A/C, great shower, very good location,
reasonable, about 80 euro for a double.

Nice courtyard, quiet.

Try Hotel Abanico, 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Very Friendly Staff.
Decent rates.

I loved Hotel Murillo in the old Jewish quarter. Charming and good
location. And reasonably priced. I think they have a website.
