Cheesy and the wolf man have no chance of ever being nominated. Rice
would be an incredible long shot.

Do you think a Republican party candidate stands a chance?

I never thought Bush stood a chance of being re-elected until I saw it
with my own eyes.

Why they keep being relevant, decade after decade, is a question for
those who can vote on the matter.

Oh, and yes, Americans are ****ing idiots.

Of course. Do not underestimate either the capacity of the Publicans to
panic folks with lies or the ability of the Democrats to muck up a sure
thing.

I heard a reporter asked Ms Rice to a game of tic-tac-toe and all she
wanted to do was play Global Thermal Nuclear War.. She kept saying,
"Shall we play a game?' I think she kept calling the reporter "Joshua"

Certainly. I do not doubt the ability of Publican PR flaks to terrify
large numbers of voters with fantasies.

Nor do I doubt the ability of Democrats to stage such confusion that
they blow a sure thing.

Hell. Obama already has Secret Service protection.

(So does Clinton, but she has it for being a past first lady.)

Americans historically like to switch parties in the White House every
8 years (since the Constitution was amended to only allow 2 terms).
Only Reagan was able to change that.

Thus the election is the Democrats to lose. That's why the Republicans
are keeping their mouths shut right now. Their only hope is that the
Dems will do something idiotic like nominate Hillary.

Personally I'd like to see Richardson as President. Experienced,
knowledgeable, moderate. Ain't got a chance.

Richardson vs. Thompson in November, 2008. Now *THAT* would be an
election!

Carter was only president for 4 years. So, that didn't follow the 8
years of "historically".
