Greetings:
As I have recently visited the excavations of this ancient Roman city I
bought a guide in the very bookshop in the entrance to the site, wich I
thought it was the most useful, comprehensible an visual of all those
put on sale.
A DVD with the whole content, descriptions and itineraries came
included with the text, but in a interactive way and in five different
languages . Don't loose the impressive animations with reconstructed
views! ('Pompei past & present' is not its name by chance)
Now you can find it at
ed2k://|file|Pompei%20past%20&%20present.ZIP|26376253|48C 7DB4FC8CFC2E16920A79DA8BFA567|h=I4QCY6WKUBCDRXMKGE H32VUWTMM25QUX|/
The guide is just 12€ and is worthy. I strongly recommend to visit
the city with a good book like this, if you want to fully enjoy and
understand this striking place.

I doubt that, otherwise it would be worth publishing.

Perhaps I did not explain myself well: the book 'Pompei past &
present', written by De Franciscis & Bragantini just includes this DVD
for free.
And the guide also is printed, of course! Did you not really think I
walked through the streets of Pompei holding a DVD on my hand, didn't
you? :-D

A little, but then i can be a real twinkie.
also I have never heard the term "twinkie" except to describe a brand of
sponge cake, and
occasionally to describe a stupid girl, either.
