Um, have you ever flown first class? Obviously not. SOmetimes, those
seats cost more than a Hyundai. First class passengers hold
departures all of the time. It's "SOP".
On a trip to Rome, a woman behind me told the attendent her friend was
running late. So they held the plane for her. Happens all of the
time.
The prols in coach are simply told "there's a line for takeoff" or
some other bullshit.
This is why you pay $8,000 for that seat. You get what you pay for.
So stop bitching about it, everyone. This is how the real world
operates.

Ever fly last minute? When you fly last minute, you can pay from $8k
to $12k for 1st class.
