Next June I'm going to Italy and would like some suggestions for the Lake of
Lugano - Maggiore and Como. Trips with car, places to see and any particular
museum with paintings.

The central part of the lake Como, around Bellagio, Varenna, Cadenabbia
is probably the most beautiful part.
I would suggest to visit also the beautiful abbey of Piona, in the
North-East
part of the lake just South of Colico, also reachable by boat.
Como and Brunate are also worth a visit.

of Angera and the Islands just off Cannero Riviera are the highlights.
Other possible excursions include the Swiss part of the Lake to Ascona and
Locarno,
Lake Orta and the Mottarone mountain near Stresa reachable with a cableway.
