Hotels near Athens airport
Anyone know of decent hotels near the new Athens airport - apart from the (rather
expensive) Sofitel at the airport?

That will be difficult. The new airport is practically speaking in the middle
of nowhere.

Yes. Practically speaking the nearest ordinary hotels are in Athens.

Try the list of hotels from the site : www.xeniosworld.com/Hotels , then
click: Attica ,and then click: East Attica. It is the area near Spata where the new

I live in Athens and work close to the new Athens airport.
There are no decent hotels close to the new airport, except the Sofitel, in the airport, which is very expensive.
I have some friends who have a travel agency in Athens, and I think that they will help you with such a reservation. Visit their site http://www.holidays4all.com and e-mail them with your request in case you need something.
