Need to get from Gare Saint Lazare station to CDG airport. What are the
options? Cab would be pricey, and this will be on a Friday afternoon in
June, when everyone will be leaving town and the streets clogged.
What other options are there? Thanks for any information.

Nothing much else than going to Gare du Nord and take that horrible RER to
CDG or else get to the Defense and take one of those mini busses that are
advertised in Fusac
I'd choose the gare du Nord option

Cab: 50 euros and it may be one hour and a half.
Bus: the Roissybus leaves from the Opéra. It will cost 8 euros and the
trips is longer than with a cab.
Train: Either Metro 14 towards Bibliothèque, change at Châtelet and take
the RER B line;
or RER E line, take the first train leaving, get off at the next station
(Magenta) and change here for RER B line.
In both cases 7,85 euros.
Train trip should not last more than one hour.

It's not horrible. The trains are not shining new but they are the best
French suburban stock ever designed.
