Bollocks. Israel has the most blatant *official* policy of assassination
of any state in the world, and they've been at it for decades with no
attempt whatever at secrecy. They murdered Kanafani back in 1972
http://www.palestineremembered.com/A.../Story168.html
and have been at it steadily ever since, the main change being that they
now use cruise missiles and kill whole buildings full of people instead
of using gunmen and boobytrapped cars.

Yep, that's because the Israelis realise that its' "either kill or be
killed". It's "the law of the jungle", but unfortunately that's the way it
is -- the Jews learned valuable lessons from their treatment in the period
1933 - 1945.

Their *goals* might have been admirable but you are correct, the *execution*
(both literally and figuratively, heh) of those goals was atrocious. Same
deal with Cuba, the goals of the Revolution were laudable but look how poor
Cuba has ended up, the place truly sucks.

other joke shitehole states. But I can tell you very truthfully that those
are places you (or I) would *not* want to live...

You should read what I was responding to.
Without that context, what you say is correct, but I was referring to
