Hi, this was found in an old photo album. I'd like to know where this
picture was taken.

Looks to me like the Voortrekker monument in Natal, South Africa

Yes, there are similarities. However I this picture was taken around
1937 (that's the only thing I know for sure). At that time the
Voortrekker Monument was just about the Beginning of its construction.
And its made of granite whereas the monument in the picture seems to be
of iron/bronze.

Yes, there are similarities. However I this picture was taken around
1937 (that's the only thing I know for sure). At that time the
Voortrekker Monument was just about the Beginning of its construction.
And its made of granite whereas the monument in the picture seems to be
of iron/bronze.
