Anyone know of any reasonable ( and via the internet) car hire outlets
in Sicily. Have looked for a few myself but seem a bit on the steep
side.

I've been several times to Sicily and the cheapest I had was
Sicily By Car. Try http://www.sicilybella.com/cars_menu.html, the
other website www.sbc.it did not work on my browser. They were OK,
not better nor worse than the other car rentaly I used (Europcar,
Budget).

From Europe, a fly-and-drive will be probably cheaper than flying
and then renting a car separately.

I used Sicily By Car in May. They were cheap and satisfactory and the
biggest in Sicily. I got a good price for their car from Travel 4 Less,
in Ireland, in English Pounds. Go figure!
