Bosnia, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria question?
Hi!
I am planning to do a trip through this countries very soon and I have some
questions for those who have been there:
1) Can somebody recommend me a good but cheap place to stay and what to see
in Bihac and Jajce area in Bosnia?
2) Is it possible to cross Esztergom(HUN)-Sturovo(SLK) bridge on foot?
3) Any good but cheap place to stay in Sturovo? And what about sightseeing?
4) Does anyone know the cost of return train/bus ticket between Sopron(HUN)
and Eisenstadt(AUT)?
Thanks in advance.
Vedran

Don't know about the cost, but it can't be very much as the rail journey
only takes half an hour, including a change of trains at
Wulkaprodersdorf (http://www.gysev.hu/en/menetrend/old/frame_s-e.html).
The GySEV is a fascinating railway, having been headquartered in
Budapest but running in both Hungary and Austria ever since the post-WW1
treaties.

Yes. There are sidewalks on the bridge, and lot's of pedestrians
using them. Passport control is on the SK side.

Sorry, didn't stay that long, but found a great little floating
restaraunt ("Popeyes"), with a fantastic view of the basilica and
bastions over at Esztergom.
I think there some penzion type places near the bus terminal (about
100 meters from where Popeye's was on the river), but couldn't swear
to it. ;-(
