An old school mate of mine is getting married in Sopot near Gdansk, Poland.
A couple of questions for you seasoned travelers...
Is there a direct flight from London to Gdansk?
If not, is coach travel from Warsaw frequent? How long?
Is hotel/motel accomodation easy to get in Sopot in April?
Thanks for any info.

Not from Heathrow or Gatwick.
However, there are direct flights both from London Stansted and from London
Luton with budget carriers.
(www.ryanair.com and www.wizzair.com, respectively).

About every 2-3 hours, journey time approx. 6 hours
Trains are hourly and take ca. 4 hours.

Yes

G'day mate!
Catch the train from Warsaw to Gdansk. It's easy and cheap.
There's plenty of accomodation around there, but even if you stay in
in Gdansk (pronounced "g-dinsk") there is a train that will take you
straight to Sopot.
Sopot is just a beach, and nothing spectacular to look at, but women
from that part are very beautiful. I was astounded! Probably will be a
bit cold to see any flesh though.
If you're a boozer, chances are you'll be shitfaced a lot of the time.
The Poles drink heavily, and their beer and vodka is good.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I've been warned by my mate to bring my
drinking boots.
