Default ATHENS

HI THERE, I HAVE BEEN FEW TIMES IN ATHENS HOWEVER I'D LIKE TO CHANGE HOTEL. DO YOU
HAVE ANY SUGGESTION? MAYBE NOT TOO EXPENSIVE AND NOT CLOSE TO THE CENTRE. I PREFER
CLOSE TO THE SEA. ALSO SUGGESTIONS ABOUT RESTAURANTS ARE APPECIATED. CIAO ROBERTO

I am really happy to find someone who agrees with me... I think Athen's center is
hot, polluted and noisy. ( you just need to visit : museum, Acropolis, Plaka and
Monastiraki... ) The hotels are not so good and expensive. I prefere staying near the
seaside...

There are a lot of modern hotels in FALIRON...

Personally, I like ZEA in PIRAEUS... (You can let your luggage near the hydroplanes
for islands...) PIRAEUS morning life is fine too.

MICROLIMANO has fine sea-food retaurants.

I live in Athens, and I agree. The center is hot, noisy and polluted.
Hotels in Zea and Microlimano are quite expensive.
For Faliro, pay attention:
There are nice, small and cheap hotels in Palio Faliro, which is a very nice area by the sea. There is also very nice beach where you can swim.
The hotels at Neo Faliro, are cheap but the area is not very good, and the sea is polluted. You can't swim there.

That's all I had to say, if you need more info, just post a reply.
