Arezzo: short term luggage storage?

Hi all--
During our upcoming trip to Italy, my wife and I will be passing
through Arezzo especially to see the della Francesca frescoes. We will
arrive and depart the same day, by either train or bus (not sure yet).
Are there lockers at the station to store our luggage for a few hours?
(Just a couple of smallish pieces, carryon size, we travel light.)
Alternatively, is there a place at/near the church to check bags and
such while viewing the frescoes?
I know we can buy tickets for the frescoes in advance, but I am
reluctant to specify an exact time just yet. We'll be there around
November 4 -- is it difficult to get same day tickets? Much of a wait?
Any other tips or suggestions for a brief stay in Arezzo to view the
frescoes?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The times I've been there, it was possible to get tickets a few hours
in advance. If you're coming in mid-week, it shouldn't be any problem.
I don't know about left luggage facilties, as I've always gone to
Arezzo by car.
There is a web site that shows what services are available in various
train stations in Italy:
http://www.artemotore.com/stazioniferroviarie.htm
However, only some of the stations have links, and the list of
stations is far from complete. Maybe it's a work in progress.
Arezzo doesn't have a link, but I'm hoping the site will be useful to
others.

I'm fairly sure I've seen lockers there, but I don't know whether they're
currently in use - as you may know, a number of European countries have
restricted their use because of terrorism concerns.

Your guess is correct, all self service luggage lockers were closed on
Sept. 15, 2001 and many have already been removed. Regards, Walter
