There's a pretty good selection of flights from here, and you certainly
wouldn't have to take such out of hours flights, but a 5am departure
wouldn't bother me too much. From London, a few of the scheduled
(regular carrier) flights _to_ Athens are night flights, and you won't
get much sleep on them either, but they seem pretty popular. I'd only
really be bothered with a flight getting me into Heraklion in the middle
of the night.
