But if the reason you wish to return home is that you don't wan to spend
the weekend in a business suit, then your reply doesn't make sense.

But you knew that already, of course.

    > What makes murder hard to prosecute?

It's not the murder per se- it's establishing the facts. With so-called
honour killing, it's not unusual for several family members to be
complicit in the act, hiding relevant facts from the police, and making
it harder to prosecute. Also, the women in many cases are taken out of
the country before being murdered, often in countries where it's almost
impossible to get a successful prosecution.

The UK police have several hundred cases at the moment which they
suspect are probably honour killings, but can't prove it.

The reason why I want to return home is that I like to decide for myself
where to live and spend my time.

As someone who was actually there, I'd say there was a pretty substantial
corps of protestors. However, they were all individuals or in small groups.
There was an organized protest march which the police did not allow to reach
the inaugural parade route. They were not stopping individuals, though (even
those carrying signs, etc. - despite a security check to enter the parade
route area).

Ok, well you got me there. But watch your back. I'm going to be trawling the
finest research libraries, crunching numbers, hiring graduate student
assistants, never resting for a moment, and one day when you least expect it
I will refute your argument like no argument has ever been refuted before.

The reason that you want to return home is that you like to decide for
yourself where to live? What does that mean?

du Mc Do.

That's easy: he wants to live at home. Unlike the rest of us.

It means I don't like being told by an employer that I must live in some
randomly-selected foreign country 24 hours a day for a week.
