I'm in Oz, we don't have poundland or whatever it's called. Come to think of it, don't think I ever recall seeing any such shop where I come from either.

I use re-chargebles anyway.

Rechargeables are good, but seem o die very suddenly? Eco friendly anyway1
There seems to be around 4 or so of this type of store in Gloucester, sel everything cheap, e.g. the 99p shop. Lots of tat, lots of normal stuff eg batteries for a quid. Good to shop in provided you are discriminating.
