Hello,
Yesterday I cleaned my window shutters,now one of them is stuck in the down position can't get it to move at all (manual ones not electric) anyone any ideas how to fix or contact details of anyone who could fix ( my portuguese is quite limited) I am in centre of Tavira. Many Thanks

The individual louvres/slats slide easily from side to side, and you have probably slid one along too far. Try getting them all central and trying again.

Hi Deb...Darn pest I know...I used to have electric ones in the Netherlands,on a time switch aaghh..Someone always left a french door or window open (yes even me)..and cruuuunch.Had to get the company out on a few occasions..Previous owners did leave a list of maintenance co's...If the name of co isn't on one of the shutters..check them all...and if they are metal/plastic..try a spray of WD40 on the stuck bit. If they are wooden.maybe warped bit more of a problem...look in directory under...Persiana/janela..

Many thanks for suggestions I wiggled it and yes its now ok! Think I'll give up cleaning!
