Default storm

The respected weather website Windguru is predicting VERY high SE winds for south west Portugal on Wednesday and Saturday.

The respected Portuguese weather service predicts only moderately high wind.

Anyway, just thought I'd let everyone know. If you have anything vulnerable, you might want to secure it just in case.
Got to go take my shade sails down now...

Wouldn't worry!

Probably just a "Wind's light to variable" Force 10. A little blow!

Normal for this time of year!

Apart from one of the patio chair's wobbling all night (solved by my putting ear plugs in) It was just very windy. Not as bad as the storm a month ago which bent out palm trees sideway's.

There must be some rain about. The IPMA website is down again, so it is just a guess for now anyway.

The heavy rain slid up the west coast just offshore; lots of distant rumbling at my place, and a strong breeze, but not the predicted powerful force 7 to 8 wind.

Longest thunder and lightening storm I can remember last night. Started at 8pm and it was still lightening with rumbles out at sea the following morning at 5am. Third time in a few weeks we lost power as well. It went off. It came on for two seconds ,went off again.. came on again for couple of mins.. Then gone. Gave up and went to bed . Dog woke us at 5am because the lights were on in the lounge bah...

I find windguru to be best; even though it overestimated the wind force on this occasion.
They all start with the same raw model [provided by Eu and US weather service], it's just the local interpretation that varies.

More storm Saturday + Sunday, in my area anyway.
