If you are lucky then you may be in an area served by Lazer Telecom Fibre - you can check your coverage here

unfortunately we are outside the coverage so it looks like apart from MEO and NOS Skynet Telecommunications is my only option

A tech guy told me that Blu will connect a fiber cable almost anywhere.
give it a try; https://blu.pt/cobertura/search

If it works, please let us know.

When I check the Blu website for fibre availability at my own house it says ... ' Lamentamos mas não existe, de momento, viabilidade técnica para levar a nossa fibra' Sorry - no viability for fibre at this moment. Despite the fact that I have had fibre from Lazer for a year !!

I would suggest checking out Vodafone - their service is pretty good and they will do internet only if you insist on it - we had it until we moved to the current provider and found it worked well. Visit a shop, stick your ground and don't let them upsell you on other packages. Internet only should cost €25 to €30 a month.

I had Vodafone do a check and they said they cannot provide it at my address I think I will give Skynet Telecommunications a go as I do not want to use MEO or NOS

If there is no fibre in your area then that's taken for granted but look at their 4G package - as long as you have reasonable GSM signal you will get workable speeds
