We do have a Lidl here but way too far to walk.
Salmon price at Continente today is €11,99 per kg. Was €5,95.

That's the standard price at the moment for farmed salmon cutlets.
If it was cutlets that were priced at 5.95€ they were on promo. The whole fish price is obviously less than the price for cutlets but either way, you would be very, very unlikely (I hesitate to say outright won't but that's what I'm getting at) to find fresh wild salmon anywhere in commercial outlets in Portugal.
