Default PT-PLC-16JUN form for arrivals?

Does anyone know if this form (found on Ryanair website) does need to be printed out? Doesn't seem to be any way to fill it in online.

Yes, my son was asked to leave it on his seat.

OK, thanks! Seems an odd system, as presumably passengers could come in and tell Customs they'd left it on the seat when they hadn't?

It appears to be the airlines are responsible for collecting the forms, not airport officials.Coming back into the UK, you fill in an online form forty eight hours before your flight. This then needs to be printed off or downloaded to your phone in case you are asked to present it. However the information has already been collected online. This needs to be completed by all incoming passengers, not just those from ‘unsafe’ countries with a few exceptions.

We arrived into Faro a couple of weeks ago on a Ryanair flight and handed the form printed from their website to a person standing on the tarmac. On our return to the UK at Stansted we completed the gov.uk form online expecting to be asked at UK border to verify completion. Strangely no special checks were done just a scan of the passport as usual. Seems one can put anything on the form except you would want to do the right thing and be honest in case you were sitting next to a Covid infected person and hope the authorities then get in touch to alert you. It's all a bit of a muddle really but I guess it all makes sense to be ultra cautious and honest.
