Is it possible to join EDP online to submit electricity readings from the UK?

Can't see any reason why not.

We do it - although from Portugal. Just access their web page and off you go

Do you not have to register with them as you would do in the UK with, say, British Gas? Also the lingo is a problem for me and involves a bit of guess work!

If you're using lecky, then surely it's with EDP?

You wouldn't have to register, just input the meter reading and anything else they ask for.

If in doubt about the language, google translate beforehand or ask.

Hi this is an extract from my online EDP Bill which is usually emailed to me with the bill attached in pdf format.

"This and other bills are also available for consultation in your client area, accessible after registration in areacliente.edp.pt. In this area, you can also see your history of consumption, communicate readings and manage contract changes. Avoid estimates on your invoice. Now it's easier and more convenient to give their readings through edp Mobile, a free application available for smartphones. All other ways of sending readings remain at your disposal - the client area edp at # 808 53 53 53 or via email [email protected]. "

Hope this helps.

The edp website works with Google Chrome with the translator unlike some banks that switch off most links in Chrome.
EDP is a breeze to post readings and they actually use my readings.
Agua is a problem as you cannot post readings and they are using estimates from the previous residents that had a large family but I will have to put up with it till they actually do a reading.

Just take your meter reading to the Aguas office and your bill will be adjusted.

I have now registered with EDP successfully online but I still could not send my readings.
I tried once more and received this reply " Obrigado pelo envio da sua leitura
Se enviar as suas leituras pelo edpOnline, não precisará de introduzir todos os dados relativos à instalação - basta fazer login e introduzir as leituras. Registe-se já."

Was I successful?? Are they asking me to register again??
