My BBC channels are coming up as 'scrambled'- anyone know what's up?

You don't say if you're receiving it via dish or Filmon but I've just checked BBC 1 & 2 on Filmon and I'm getting both channels just fine.

In that case, it might be to do with the satellite changes...... in which case, if they've been removed etc then it could well be permanent.

If you have a fast enough internet connection, you could always try filmon.com or live.camposat.tv - They have 1,2,3 & 4 plus BBC News

I suspect Mari has had the the satellite dish re-aligned to the one with the scrambled BBC feed.
when installed, they program in the code to de-scramble the picture. But the code changes from time to time.
Call whoever installed it and ask if they have the new code [yet] and how to program it into the sat receiver.
Or give up on the system and use internet TV as mfesharne suggests.

filmon is illegal as well; I didn't notice any objections to that.
our previous reception of sky [outside the UK] was illegal.

The legality of Filmon is being settled in the courts,the publishing of hacked codes being used by those illegaly accessing a secure TV network is another matter.

I don't have satellite tv and have no idea how the codes work. The only reason I posted it was the forum replies towards the bottom where it is stated that there are signal problems at the moment hence the scrambled picture.

Can you tell me what Portuguese law is being broken?

The network they are using in NOT open to public access.
How would you feel if all your codes, passwords were stolen for someone else to use to make money ??
