Council Rates 2010
Just received our house rates bill from Loule Council for 2010. Euros 1930 compared to Euros 1550 last year. On a recent valuation by the way. Some rise eh ? We have no mains water, sewerage, post services, carry our own rubbish to bins etc.

I got exemption for 8 years as it is my only residence.

Aah Haa ! Mr Hog - maybe your house has not been re valued yet ? If there is any change of registration details local Cameras will do a revaluation (well Loule does). You would think Loule would be a bit more sensible seeing they collect from Quinta da Lago, Vale de Lobo and Vilamoura - they must rake in a fortune.
