Carnival 2017 in the Algarve

I am asking for some UK friends visiting the Algarve from the 25th February to 1st March (Carnival Season), about related festivities etc.

Loule has the biggest celebrations but many places have parades.
Whete are they staying ?

They will be staying in the Lagos area, but will travel around.
