Car Insurance and Inspection badges on the left?
The rules state the the Insurance and Inspection badges are supposed to be placed on the right of the windscreen about half way up.
Of course, for UK matriculated vehicles, this puts them right in the line of sight.
I've put them on the left instead, is this what everyone does and does the GNR also see this sense?

They should be placed at bottom near dash not the middle.

If you're in the Algarve, toss a double-headed coin.

You're not actually obliged to display the inspection badge on the windscreen any more - the only one that's obligatory to display here now is the insurance, so that should increase your field of vision by about 1 square inch .
You need to have both full certificates ready for inspection if stopped, though, along with all the other required docs.
