In these times of hardship I am thinking of organizing a large plot of land with lovely topsoil, and offer for a small fee an allocated space with water for people to have their own allotment. This will be a great chance for residents to learn how to grow their own vegetables from seed, learn about crop rotation and companion planting plus the best reward of picking your own.
Looking for people who might be interested, there will be a resident organic gardener who will have his own plot and show you the ropes and you will be able to learn what to sow, grow, and harvest.
It sounds great to me, any views or comments appreciated

It's something I would certainly consider but not if it's too far from us (we're Meia Praia side, near the EB2,3 school at the Marina)

It will be before Sargacal, from the N125 turn off at Raminhos and 200 metres down the road, less than 5 minutes from Meia Praia. I will keep you all posted but those who show interest first will be contacted first, so you will have the first option. There will be approx 20 allotments.
Look forward to speaking to you soon
