Default Faro train station

Hi,

can anyone tell me how far the airport is to the train station.
I have my kids flying in, they need to get to Lisbon.
Any help, in the best way for them to get to the train station/length of time etc..we live in central PT, so no idea....need to know what time to book train.

Thanks,
Jaz

There is a local bus service operating between the airport and Faro bus center or train station about every hour. The stop is just outside arrivals.

Faro airport to the train station about 5km away.
10 mins by taxi (approx 11€) or 15-20mins by bus (don't know the cost).

Its Euro 1.75 each way. After Christmas, it could be in Escudos?

It's right next door to the Train station same bus from the airport bus stops right outside. They do say the Express coach is quicker than the train but I have only gone by car and that takes about 2.5 hrs.
