I sent an email to recruitment last year in December and it was only for people who had been granted visa's due to spouses or key skills etc

Whatever visa you have, it has to entitle you to permanent residency with no other restrictions, it's the minimum standard (visa wise) required to be a police officer over here.

Article in todays paper saying that the foreign drive was a success but also suggesting that it wasn't a success. They won't be doign nay foreign recruiting soon the article said.

I got the email I am going for my final medical this afternoon and then as long as that is good I will be starting on the 14th March! Almost there!
