Very much doubt it mate, they have a freeze on their application for the constable training program internally. South Oz did a big recruitment from the UK last year, they will be more likely.

Queensland? I'd be surprised, large numbers have lost jobs over here in the last year or so, and there is a huge review still going on in a closely-related department which will have ramifications in the QPS.

QPOL are running the Pace program again. They do not need to recruit from the UK directly as they have enough interest over here. You need PR to be able to even apply for the PACE program.

The job cuts that Pollyana talks about are from high level officers: some QPOL regions have been amalgamated and therefore not as many senior officers are needed.New constables are needed and recruitment is still very much active. I am a cop here.

Not sure what "the closely related department which will have ramifications in the QPS" is about though??????
