Default Newbie visiting Manila April / May

I m visiting Manila for 6 weeks in April/May.
Got 59 day via bit only allows 1 entry - can I change it when I get to Phils or should I do it here?
Taking golf clubs so need some info on golf courses - 10 handicap - take my golf seriously but happy to play with anyone / make friends.
I intend to move there permanently in a couple of years: need to sort out banking arrangements and all other "planning ahead" issues including starting a business there.
I would be grateful for all / any information, advice and hazard warnings.
Thanks in anticipation.

Why do you need to change it? If you leave you will get a 30 visa waiver everytime you re-enter.

I know nothing about golf beyond that it does exist in and around Manila. I seem to remember seeing a golf course beside Intramuros.

Regarding setting up a business, for a non-filipinos it is difficult and usually you can only have a 40% stake. Bare in mind with any business dealings in the Philippines is that the Philippine government doesn't want foreign businesses. And everybody will be after the shirt of your back..

As a current ex-pat in Spain I have already been "raped" by everything Spanish - hence my desire to be as well prepared as possible. Thanks for the heads up.
