Looks like it will be reactive administration rather than a proactive one. By all reports Marcos was pretty decent, it was Imelda that was the power behind the thrown. The boyfriend of a cousin of my wife who is from Hawaii was part of his security detail when they were exiled to Hawaii. He said that Marcos himself was a nice guy but Emelda a complete bitch.
