COVID NEWS UPDATE cont.
After 4 years interesting to look back here in the Philippines and the UK: https://news.sky.com/story/the-virus...th-it-13059424 https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/3...ilippines-1450 Not sure about the claim of the longest lockdown. Melbourne and Buenos Aires also claim that, A comprehensive review of Long Covid from the journal Nature: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41579-022-00846-2 A cursory look through should be enough not to believe those who are arguing it is not so special or serious. The Queensland Minister of Health made waves recently by suggesting the term Long Covid was unhelpful. He said that at a news conference , though it is not in a paper, not Peer Reviewed. Paper to be presented at a conference. A good countering argument: https://theconversation.com/why-scra...ndition-225880 In the UK the covid inquiry held some sessions in Wales: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-wales-68575563 Many lockdown details and at least two major issues were difficult to decide. A study in the UK concludes that the older bivalent boosters did surprisingly well vs the later monovalent ones. But in the future the goal is to develop an all variant covid vaccine. https://www.thelancet.com/journals/l...316-7/fulltext YOU TUBE VIDEOS https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...6cf941ff34.png Dr Campbell gets excited by a letter sent to the Met Police Commissioner by Andrew Bridgen MP. Alleging crimes have been committed and requesting a good sized venue so that evidence can be taken from about 20 people, some of them have previously guested on Campbell's channel. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...d8dbe2cebc.png Obviously a publicity stunt. No reply publicized by either Bridgen or Campbell to date. The names include...an ex employee of Pfizer over a decade ago. A misinformation spreader and cardiologist. A proponent of Ivermectin. A film maker. A Southampton footballer from over a decade ago. An anti vaxxer funeral business owner, who employed embalmers finding, to them, worrying clots. Only also seen as abnormal in Alabama. An ex policeman who once worked at Porton Down. A motley crew! https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...7373197754.png A letter signed by 55 academics and scientists. It's some way through its deliberations now so it won't be changed. Found an article from last year which looks at the few other covid inquiries around the world. Italy is going to have one too soon. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/...de-uk-scrutiny https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...50aba96665.png Bridgen, ever active, catches out the minister on the numbers of long term sick in the UK, That's not the first time a Health Minister has been shown not to be aware of the data. Campbell presents a report from a body calling itself The Hart Foundation. One of its charts https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...cee55e199e.png Of course Campbell latches on to this as he sees it as further evidence of post vaccine adverse effects. Not due to the virus, some of the control measures and health service failures. In addition he presents the latest excess death data by cause of death from the Office of Health Improvement and Disparities. Again is appalled by the deaths due to ischemic heart disease. But 3 years ago he put out a video that explains why: Campbell also rails against the government for stopping the collection and publication of this data in the future. But he got confused and a little research shows you an explanation that. like the ONS, they are making some changes in the way they calculate the excess deaths, taking into account we are entering a post pandemic time and changes in the UK population. So the series calculated on the old methodology was terminated Dec 29, 2023. A new one continues and was backdated to January 2023. Another example of Campbell's sloppiness and what happens when someone turns from being a presenter to a campaigner...facts no longer matter. One could make some excuse for he being such a prolific uploader to You tube. But that also can be seen as a campaign tactic...flood the zone to keep attention. Never mind the quality. More from You tube coming later. |

YOU TUBE VIDEOS
Part 2 Dr Susan Oliver again enjoyed field days recently: First over John Campbell's ONS Excess Deaths methodology video (Change in Death Stats) Reviewed here Feb 25. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...e44611425d.png An open goal for Dr Oliver as in 11 minutes Campbell failed to explain the changes. Had to be deliberate because he waved a page of statistical notation from the ONS explanation in an attempt to mislead the audience into thinking it was all like that. Judging by the comments he succeeded. To get to that he had to have seen the introduction which gave an executive summary of the main changes and the rationale. So more evidence of how devious he has become in his campaign against the vaccine. UK excess deaths in 2023 were much reduced under the changes and have continued to fall in 2024. As Dr Oliver explains it is misleading of Campbell to continue quoting the OECD figures...they were poorer than the previous ones issued by the ONS. Now the ONS, is following Our World with a similar approach. It is likely that the OECD will soon follow. Then he will have to find another out of date source to attempt to back up his claims. Oh de There is a short video explanation from the ONS of the changes here: Could have said a bit more, but at least something for people who can't be bothered to read the explanation. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...3453e0004a.png A hyper vaccinated individual with at least 134 covid vaccinations and likely 217. At least 5 different brands. Made the main World News page on the BBC online news site a couple of weeks ago. Anti vaxxers claim that multiple vaccinations damage our immunity systems. While this is just one case it is good evidence to add to all the other reasons that they don't. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...cb3d13f030.png Anti vaxxers went to substack and posted articles which they claim expose the 217 vaccinations case as a fake. Dr Oliver goes through them and exposes misrepresentations they make of 4 studies about genetic material in vaccines. The aim to call the Lancet article out as fake news as surely, they argue, it is impossible that so little RNA/DNA material was found in 217 vaxxman's blood? First of all DNA would not be found at all. It is only used at a stage in the manufacturing process and then broken up and removed. Then the studies they quote didn't actually find much vaccine RNA at all. By the way the study concluded that the subject had increased quantity of antibodies but there was no change in the quality of the man's adaptive immunity response. No adverse effects too.. Some recent Medcram videos of interest: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...8733084621.png A Greek study of older adults looking for the associative factors that risked catching covid. Age was not one! Highly correlated were: Urban area Smoking BMI index Depression Sleep Quality Anxiety Stress Lack of exercise A plant based diet eg Mediterranean diet lowered the risk substantially. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...e4a378b7d5.png Dr Seheult reviews covid treatment options. This also goes for influenza. Paxlovid is an anti viral. Can't find a price here but saw one result that said in the US about $500 for a 5 day course. NAC is an amino acid supplement. It hasn't been tested much. Whereas zinc is proven to help cold infections. HCQ and IV: Doesn't recommend now...He wants to see large scale randomized trials..Though I thought a number have been done on IV and shown it not to be effective. Not recommended by the WHO and the CDC. The doc's favourites are Sunlight...he makes the point that just getting outside on a cloudy day gives you enough near infra red radiation (just beyond what we can see, reflected off surfaces etc) to top up vitamin D levels and hydrotherapy eg sauna...although increased heart rate needs watching as the heat increases.. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...0e5530a4de.png A conversation between two people I have referred to here in the past. Interferon is a substance made by white blood cells, which assists the immune system. One study found interferon levels were increased by hydrotherapy. Seheult also mentions one US study where covid sufferers had an injection of interferon and it reduced their hospitalization by 50%. Vitamin D3 is the same type of vitamin D made by the skin but taken as a supplement. More on these treatments from Medcram https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...0f4b2988dc.png Another video: https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...c91736345d.png Denis Rancourt is a former Physics professor and is now a prolific anti vaxxer. Steve Kirsch, an American entrepreneur, also an anti vaxxer, publicised some stolen NZ data. Incomplete so his work could not say anything about covid treatments in NZ. Dr Wilson gives some excerpts from their conversation and comments. Funny at times! In the same vein the Philippines blogger, SS or Sally Clarke, who "outed" herself when she appeared at the House joint covid inquiry recently, sent out a newsletter on March 22. No data, which she is quite good at, but a ridiculous list of "Died Suddenlies" She's been doing that for some time, but has increased it lately. Maybe because the local anti vaxxer campaign, she is one of its leaders, is getting nowhere. No MSM here reporting on the inquiry. Here is her specially stupid list: https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...6fe4e18759.png All at UP Diliman. Which is a big University. SS finds it unusual that 5 alumni passed away recently. One aged 41, the other 4 aged 63 to 88. Not unusual here to die in your 60s and 70s and certainly not to die at 88 anywhere! No causes of death, except the last lady died descending a mountain at 41. SS says her fellow mountaineers suspected a heart attack. And yet she puts her in her list, which of course, is saying they likely died from covid vaccination. SS seems to have some background in health and a good general intelligence, so it just goes to show how being a campaigner can severely affect judgement. Are they likely vaccinated? She doesn't say individually but then talks at great length about the support academics and administrators gave to the Philippines vaccination program at UP. |
Re: NCR llockdown
A correction and more observations on UK long term sickness:
https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...d4930faab3.png I think I was too hard yesterday on the Health minister.when he answered a parliamentary question from Andrew Bridgen MP. His answer was very short but he did mention two explanatory factors to account for the rise in long term sickness. Mental health and skeletal issues. On the former the Pandemic is well known to have made people feel a loss of control and caused stress, anxiety, fear, loneliness and depression. People already suffering mental health issues may have felt them worsening. Muscular and skeletal issues are thought to have greatly increased during the pandemic. In particular reduced bone density and aching muscles. Covid infection can cause hyperinflammation which leads to bone loss and joint pain. Covid treatments, such as steroids, against inflammation can also cause bone pain. Pandemic controls reduced exercise and going outside likely also reduced vitamin D levels. Both necessary to build strong bones. The Minister might have added something about Long Covid and the probability some people have conditions from covid which do not qualify as Long Covid but when combined with other factors, such as economic or mental ones, have made them long term sick. Some are alleging many are exaggerating these pandemic effects to claim sickness benefits.Statutory sick pay is currently 109.40 a week but only lasts for 28 weeks. Long term sick pay is discretionary for the employer. So I am not sure that would be enough to encourage many fraudulent claims. Andrew Bridgen said that "this huge increase started in the spring of 2021 at the same time as the roll out of the experimental vaccines...or does the minister have an alternative explanation?" Using the charts from the Hart group (link in video) the one for men does not provide clear support for Bridgen: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...b202b707c3.png A rise from the spring of 2020 to late autumn.Though something seen also in 2018 and to a much lesser extent in 2015 and 2019..There was no vaccination until December 2020. But then the Hart group points to a clear rise in sickness in the Spring of 2021, a few months after the vaccine roll out had begun and it went on to reach high levels in late 2021. A temporal correlation only. To try to link with serious vaccine effects the Hart group claim these are significant. Though evidence for that is weak, Many relevant Google searches are seen, which they admit could just be general interest. Many Long Covid symptoms are not from covid but from the vaccine, they allege. Alhough the evidence is that the majority of serious effects happen soon after the vaccination. Of course the Minister disagreed with Bridgen.. How about a covid explanation? https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...796ae955b4.png The rises in 2020 and 2021 temporally correlate well with covid rises. The 2020 rise could also correlate with the "stay at home" lock down measures. With only the 2021 rise correlating possibly with the vaccines. The mechanisms linking covid with sickness are much better known too. Testing was insufficient and covid cases were therefore missed in early 2021. So I think a stronger case for covid. Long covid is dismissed by the Hart group. They say that the amount from 2020 would be minimal.Yes, but covid infections from late spring 2021 could well have contributed to the steep rises in long term sickness later in 2021 as Long Covid. The Hart group also give a chart for Women's long term sickness: https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...06336d4383.png Similar for men's, except a plateau for a year from spring 2020. The Hart group are obviously strong believers in covid vaccines being harmful. They say other changes in Public Health are "hard to fathom'. But there was also significant disruption in health care, with some people scared to even go and seek attention. Obviously the government do not want to admit the vaccines were not safe. But difficult for them to disprove a negative. So we are left with a stand off between the two divergent views on long term sickness. |
Re: NCR llockdown
Covid and other data update
Nothing more from the DOH. The only country still reporting any data in SE and E Asia is Malaysia Weekly averaging about 50 cases a week over the last month. For Europe and the USA: UK https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...e82826be3b.png This year's UK case fall from a winter peak. From about 1,000 to 100 weekly Data from the UK Health Security Agency Dashboard. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...b63c49cb9d.png UK covid deaths falling also. From about 300 to100 weekly. Although the most recent number w/e 22 March up 17% on the week before. UK Excess Deaths For England and Wales the below expected numbers from the start of the year continue: w/e 22 March -5.8% 15 March -6.2% 8 March -4.9% These are now calculated under a new methodology. But the numbers were also negative for the first few weeks of the year under the old one. USA Recent case data for the US as a whole no longer available but the CDC do publish this: https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...bef53e4820.png https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...36c59a9ac7.png Germany https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...9114a5a5ae.png From Worldometers German cases had a small peak in the winter. Last daily report Jan 3 was of 5,551 cases. Since then no official data.. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...27b76202e6.png From a recent peak of about 100 to 30 daily. Germany considers an inquiry: https://www.dw.com/en/german-bundest...iry/a-68742472 So covid down but not out and as more countries stop reporting it gets more difficult to assess the long term outlook. Last some updated PSA data from an April 1 SS newsletter https://supersally.substack.com/ Deaths https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...05b20c352a.png Deaths for 2023 now confirmed to July. SS makes a lot from 2023 deaths for the 4 month period March to June being well above those for the same months in 2022. Certainly unexpected and something to explain. According to SS the vaccines "cannot be exonerated" for that. Anti vaxxers started off believing that vaccines killed many people shortly after vaccination. They still believe that but since the number of covid vaccinations fell greatly in 2023 they needed to suggest long term harmful effects are an additional cause. SS says "accumulating side effects". Mainstream opinion substitutes covid for covid vaccination to explain why there is a legacy of death following the acute phase of the Pandemic. But ignored by SS is the dotted line projection showing the PSA expect them to fall greatly later in 2023. We should take that seriously as they already have a lot of data for the remainder of the year. Though SS believes she knows better and they will continue higher. Births https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...d9a73d784e.png While being above 2022 levels for 3 months in early 2023 births now projected to fall greatly later in the year. Again covid vaccines "cannot be exonerated" SS says. Anti vaxxers believing they have an effect on fertility. No such mechanism has been found. But it's very difficult to prove a negative! https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...ecc39021d9.png Fertility has been declining for 30 years. A steeper decline during the Pandemic as that was obviously not seen as a good time to start a family! Post the acute phase of the Pandemic phase economic factors may have been a further cause. I will review some recent You tube covid videos and other covid news in the next post. |
Re: NCR llockdown
Some recent You tube videos and covid research
https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...a75721d3e3.png This was the first chart of ONS data presented by the Hart group in their article on UK Long Term Sickness. Strangely, they choose to start with women, about 40% of the workforce. They used it to support their contention that the rise in 2021 had a lot to do with coviid vaccination. They also presented the men's chart which showed a similar but less pronounced rise in 2021. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...e88568dcee.png Dr Susan Oliver prefers to look at the graph for the labour force as a whole. Sensible as it approximately doubles the numbers. Looking at it you see that 2021 does not seem much out of place compared to the graph in previous years. Then you understand why the Hart group wanted to separate men and women. Showing that groups with an agenda, even if made up from highly qualified medical professionals, cannot be trusted to present official data properly. Did the many doctors, or even a small number of them, approve this article or did they leave it to some person not qualified in statistics to put this out? We know that Campbell would not have any idea as to its statistical worth. But he probably wouldn't care as he knows this group is anti vaxx, as he is. Long term sickness Is multi factorial and Dr Oliver mentions Baby Boomers, people born in the late 1940s now reaching their late 70s, Long Covid, which would by 2021 be also affecting some of those who caught covid pre vaccine in 2020 and the ever lengthening NHS waiting lists. All these factors worsened in 2021 and are likely to explain the sharp rise seen that year. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...0ec924281d.png One of two recent videos put out by Campbell recently on cancer with Dr Angus Dalgleish, which is a disease he seems to be concentrating on these days after running out of revelations on myocarditis and other serious diseases. Cancer a good choice for him as its causes are not well understood, people often not satisfied with explanations of random genetic mutations, and because some cancers can be aggressive. An aspect highlighted by anti vaxxers. Useful as it fits in with their claims that vaccines can quickly cause serious illness and death. Termed, only by them, as "turbo" cancers. Even better for anti vaxxers is to try to link increases in "early onset cancers" with covid vaccination. Never mind that the data can record these as suffered by those at ages of up to 49 years of age and that covid vaccination of the very young was at a low level everywhere. I think if you hear about "cancer in the young", you don't think much older than 35. Dr Dalgleish is Campbell's go to expert on cancer. Campbell descibes him as a leading oncologist in the UK, Though we should not rely on that. But Dalgleish is not an anti vaxxer. A rarity with Campbell's interviewees. Something alluded to in a recent critical video about him by Dr Susan Oliver, where she notes he wrote articles during the pandemic on the benefits of vaccination. Early onset cancer does seem to have been increasing globally since the 1990s, as shown best by a BMJ article (link in her video) looking at data 1990 to 2019. The article includes this graphic on its likely causes. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...4366801ae7.png Obesity, diet, lifestyle issues suspected. Again, an issue where long term changes are being accidentally or deliberately ignored by campaigners to try to denigrate covid vaccines. Dr Oliver blasts Dalgleish for suggesting in another interview that his personal anecdotes can serve as evidence for the increase. Which is supported by data up to 2019. Yet Dalgleish goes further and claims that there have been faster increases over the last two or three years. He suggests they might be caused by something other than changes in diet. I recommend you stick with Dr Oliver's video to read something interesting from Dalgleish on his experience with vaccine trials relating to whether anecdotes are worth hearing. Dr Oliver found that Dalgleish, in a magazine article, wrongly used data from the American Cancer Society to support his claim of a recent cancer rise there. Its data only went up to 2020. So what is happening with England cancer data lately? https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...a694a6a0fc.png We see that cancer diagnoses have been roughly constant over the last 5 years, save for an understandable drop during the 2020 lockdown. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...2d737ce004.png By age range. With early years (maroon line,up to 49) following the pattern of older ages. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...b84f7d00a8.png The percentage of early stage cancers (stage 1 or 2) showing the same pattern for the young. So no increase in advanced cancers in the young. Finally, a post script on the fall in Philippine and E Asian fertility. Yet another issue where changes have been long term and attempts have been made to link with covid vaccination. The latest Philippine number at 1.5. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...76358bf7d7.png Prolific local blogger SS on covid and many other topics, in a newsletter April 9. SS flirts withe covid vaccination and other childhood vaccines playing a part in the decline in fertility and in pediatric deaths. Relying on temporal correlation. Ignoring the Pandemic and the affect it had on health services. Doesn't agree that there could be positive aspects from the fertility rate going below 2.1, which has been generally mentioned as the population replacement level for this country. Such as concentrating parental educational supervision on less children, reducing class sizes, unemployment and Increasing wage levels. https://supersally.substack.com/ This seemed to me to be a thoughtful article on the issue https://time.com/6836949/birth-rates...japan-decline/ The Philippines following a long term E (and SE) Asian trend. In the region a number of "baby making policies" have been tried. The Philippines, with its much younger population, will not be at the stage where they might be even considered for years. Nor does it seem likely that more immigration might ever be a remedy here. Many experts think it better to make adjustments to a lower population. Make the labour force more productive by improving education, health and pensions in old age. But you do wonder if the Philippines can progress those changes over the long term given the continuing high levels of poverty.and of insecurity in the still small middle class. One more post on recent covid research coming soon. |
Re: NCR llockdown
Some more updates on covid:
In the Philippines the DOH has stopped informing about covid. Instead it is releasing data on other diseases. The link with covid is that we see increased vaccine hesitancy, some of it stemming from anti vaxxer claims. Also a similar late ordering of vaccines to that seen in 2021 with covid. Pertussis (whopping cough) 1,112 cases so far in 2024. A 34x increase on the same period in 2023. About 50 deaths. Vaccine stocks are low and the DOH says it is getting more in June. Pertussis is one of the diseases protected against by a new 5 in 1 Pentavalent vaccine for babies. The others are Diptheria,Tetanus,Hepatitis B and a type of flu. Stocks of this vaccine at 64,400 last March 25, say the DOH. I mentioned vaccine hesitancy. SS, a prolific blogger on these matters, opposes the use of whopping cough and measles vaccination: March 27 newsletter "The Only Weapon..." https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...6adf99f8f9.png https://supersally.substack.com/ Hepatitis B, a viral liver infection, has been described as "Hyperendemic" in the Philippines. Estimated to affect between 10 and 16%, both percentages are quoted, of people here. Much higher than in most other SE and E Asian countries. Anti vaxxers are also trying to encourage hesitancy on another treatment.....blood transfusions. Some talk about getting transfusions only from "pure bloods" ie donors from the covid unvaccinated or blood purged from vaccine spike protein. Ignoring that these are fragmented and expelled quickly from the body. So far we haven't seen a case where someone refuses a blood transfusion and dies as a result. Anyway, the stage we are at now is that in response to the concerns of some anti vaxxers, papers are being published , albeit in online journals..Eg a Japanese paper setting out what to look out for in donated blood. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...f5dcebb88a.png Notice the anti vaxxer views of the researchers indicated by the language Eg ".."so called Genetic Vaccines". Long Covid Anti vaxxers are keen to downplay Long Covid as that also downplays covid, hence they say the need for vaccination. Though studies suggest that covid vaccination reduces the risk of Long Covid and its severity to an extent. This came out from the online UK Telegrah newspaper. A news outlet that has lately been one of the few in the UK MSM to print anti vaxxer claims: Relied on a great deal by Dr John Campbell.. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/health/med...es/ar-BB1lh7K2 So if that's the case Long Covid could be much less than officially claimed. Or if you just looked at the headline or don't read carefully, nothing to do with covid at all. This was the publication they extracted that news item from: https://le.ac.uk/news/2024/april/long-covid Notice the difference in the headline from that in the Telegraph report. Some recent research on Long Covid: https://www.bbc.com/news/health-68762171 How common is Long Covid? In the US anyway. https://www.kff.org/coronavirus-covi...is-long-covid/ On the body wide effects of covid: It's the inflammation, not in the lungs, that is a major effect of covid: https://medicalxpress.com/news/2024-...lammation.html Why did we see excess cardiovascular deaths during and after the Pandemic? https://www.news-medical.net/news/20...lar-risks.aspx Hydroxychloroquine The malaria treatment was initially an emergency use approved covid treatment in the US. Supported in the Spring of 2020 by President Trump. Finally withdrawn as a treatment, except in trials, by the US NIH in the autumn of 2020 due to not being effective. Evidence from 6 large scale trials. Risks of serious side effects and deaths both from HCQ and not having an effective treatment. Some treatment use continued in India, says wiki. An article linking Trump's tweets to HCQ use: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7685699/ Another on the deaths attributed to HCQ covid treatment in 6 countries: https://www.sciencedirect.com/scienc...5333222301853X Finally, yet another very misleading video from Dr John Campbell: https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...43e94293dc.png Campbell "presented" an article on Long Covid by a respected Australian immunologist, ignoring the subject of Long Covid! He just selected two paragraphs on possible covid vaccine damage. One of the papers cited by the author only discussed "temporary myorcarditis". Perhaps worse was that again Campbell said nothing about the well known and much more frequent myocarditis after covid. A stark contrast to the old Campbell. Two examples: "Both Vaccines Working". He methodically goes through trial results in 2021. Also from 2021 on "Post Vaccine Deaths". Am I concerned? No! He would say now he has had second thoughts in the light of the latest evidence. But his misguided analysis of that now much greater body of evidence has been the reason |

Re: NCR llockdown
All well reported and many tanks Raffin. Covid is now just part of life as is influenza and pneumonia and we just wait for the next traumatic virus to attack we humans. I read that human intervention in the name of progress will accelerate the incidents of worldwide epidemics to perhaps very five years.

Re: NCR llockdown
Thank you, B.
The good thing is that surveillance will be improved and the public should be more aware. Apparently the scientists expect a flu virus variant to be the source of the next one. PS Looking through yesterday's post, I see there is no title of the second UK HSA graph. It was England covid deaths, as you might have worked out. |
Re: NCR llockdown
A recent You tube video:
https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...8804ea57fe.png Nice pictures of pre and post fusion with the cell SARS Cor 2 spike proteins in another Back to the Science rebuttal of a Campbell video. Notice how different they are. The differences post fusion enable the spike protein to more easily enter and take over a cell. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...af8fae2309.png Perhaps "Trick or treat" another more appropriate title. When this came out I noticed and posted that this Australian GPs journal was low level. Content gets a cursory check, not a full peer review. The author(s) take full responsibility. https://www1.racgp.org.au/ajgp/2024/...can-take-heart I also pointed out the lack of any mention the much greater risk of myocarditis after covid when mentioning an increased risk after vaccination. But one of the studies referenced talked only of temporary myocarditis after vaccination. Dr Oliver comes up with many more examples of issues with the author's paper and Campbell's presentation. Campbell says that uridine, which plays an important part in RNA, is unnatural.in the modified stabilized vaccine spike protein. But Oliver points out "stabilized" means it won't change from a prefusion to a dangerous postfusion state in the cell, as does the infection spike protein. Anyway he's wrong to call it unnatural. It's a mammalian uridine and previous inflammation is greatly reduced. POTS....Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. Heart beating faster after getting up from a lying position. To see another sad example of deception from the retired nurse compare these two pictures of text from the article: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...c876ae3eb6.png The green underlining suddenly stops... What Robert Tindle wrote in his article was this: https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...009bd87c7f.png Put in the article to try to add to Tindle's claim that post vaccine issues are serious. But that one study showing only one fifth of occurrence post vaccine. Though at least those words included. Apart from myocarditis Tindle says "mRNA vaccines can result in spike protein expression in muscle tissue, the lymphatic system, cardiomyocytes and other cells..." Bad news Campbell says. Relying on this article on vaccine adverse effects: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35537987/ Problem is, she says, this is all hypothetical. No evidence of any effects. Especially nothing about cardiomyocytes. These cells are Involved in the contractile force in the heart. No evidence they can produce spike protein from mRNA spike protein she says.. As far as spike protein going all round the body Oliver says it's fragments only. Intact mRNA mostly at the injection site and dendritic lymph cells, they help memory T cells recognize and destroy antigens. Campbell's focuses on IgG4 antibodies, only 5% of the whole class, as vaccines recipients develop more of these molecules. They are known as blocking antibodies, preventing allergic responses, but have been linked by anti vaxxers to autoimmune diseases and cancer. Why would we want to reduce immunity? Says Campbell. The important point says Oliver is that having some more of IgG4 only affects one disease.....SARS cov2. And not general immunity, as anti vaxxers argue. This is exemplified with beekeepers: https://www.sciencedirect.com/scienc...31302516362092 Another paper shows bee keepers are normal for cancer. They are also normal for other diseases. Millions do not suffer fro post covid and post vaccine sequelae. Just millions suffer from post covid sequelae. Campbell deliberately misleading his audience. The paper he is quoting from actually says post vaccine long term effects are rare. A recent paper looking at 20M participants from Spain,UK and Estonia says covid vaccination has a good protective effect against Long Covid: https://www.thelancet.com/journals/l...082-1/fulltext Campbell says the paper he is [presenting said 10% of those vaccinated got Long Covid. Whereas it is 10% of those with Long Covid experienced symptoms at 12 months! Whether deliberately misleading or he miss spoke he should just retire! Will look at some more recent videos soon. . |
Re: NCR llockdown
More on recent You tube videos
Dr Susan Oliver published a video, reviewed here on April 11, which looked at claims that cancer was increasing generally. She showed that in England it wasn't and there was no recent data available in the US to judge the claim.. Anti vaxxers have misleadingly highlighted cancers in the young, alarming many people, even though the upper age limit is 49. Some data I didn't include on April 11. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...95cb5d8453.png https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...2c9eee0512.png Excess cancer England into negative territory from September 2023. Before that excess and negative periods roughly balancing out. Neither Campbell or Dr Dalgleish responded to Dr Oliver's video. As usual. Then he found a Japanese cancer study: https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...8996139b2b.png Immediately the title rings alarm bells. Naming mRNA vaccines including the term "Nanoparticle" is unnecessary and can be seen as pandering to anti vaxxers, The study's findings are obvious when Campbell starts off by saying "...this is going to be somewhat of a difficult watch..." Against that Campbell's videos have themselves been difficult to watch over the last 2 oryears! https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...7ce71a52ed.png In opposition to the England data. Yet the paper has an impressive number of charts and some advanced statistical methods employed. A tick appears against the Peer Reviewed box. Then I had a feeling I had heard some time ago that this Cureus journal was one which would go out of its way to publish papers from research groups with anti vaxxer beliefs. Then what knowledge does Campbell have about Japanese data and policies during the Pandemic? I thought little. Luckily two excellent You tubers quickly came out with their views on it: https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...845ce97dcd.png https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...861212c044.png Japan excess mortality increasing 2020 to 2022 steeply, then fell somewhat in 2023 https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...e91b7c1af3.png The authors show the extent of temporal correlation with the vaccine roll outs. Campbell makes a great deal of the low excess mortality in Japan in 2020. Noting the very different UK 2020 excess mortality as the virus spread quickly there. Suggesting a lack of care and over use of pain killers in care homes and that this caused many deaths to be recorded as covid caused. That is a mini campaign of Campbell's he has pushed a few times. The main cause, Dr Oliver says. for the lower deaths was the later arrival of the virus in Japan. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...44c4cc70a4.png https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...63bd0b0a87.png Japan, like Australia and NZ, closed its borders to the original virus and its variants. Britain, in contrast, did not do that. The pay off for Japan and Aus/NZ was later exposure to the milder Omicron variant and treatment improvements, resulting in lower mortality, despite confounding factors. For Japan one is the older population than the UKs..Campbell seizes on the much lower mortality in Japan and explains it erroneously by saying UK vaccination didn't save lives as claimed. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...bde369513a.png The small red circles with their pluses and minuses are bit difficult to see, even when the chart is expanded, but the official Japan cancer dashboard doesn't show anything much outside of what was expected. No big increase after the first booster roll out in 2021. This data was not referenced in the paper. Possibly because the authors don't believe in official statistics, which is a commonly held anti vaxxer view. Or maybe because it doesn't support their claims? Few people outside Japan will look at the official Japanese dashboard, as Dr Oliver did. Even know it exists. Dr Oliver did find this paper in a reputable journal to provide corroboration: https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/article...30235/_article The authors concluded that there was no evidence for an increase in Japan cancer deaths. A conflicting study, again published in Cureus, is given short shrift by Dr Oliver. Link under her video.. I have reached the maximum of allowed pictures so will continue with more cancer information from Dr Susan Oliver and Dr Wilson in my next upload. |
Re: NCR llockdown
Dr Susan Oliver video on Japan cancer paper cont.
https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...6ac42d5178.png Did vaccination have any effect on cancer deaths ? https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...9c04971a16.png A US study said 81% of excess cancer deaths had covid on their death certificate. There was an 18.5% fall of monthly average deaths post vaccination compared to the pre vaccination period. The authors of the paper push the idea that past progress with cancer came to an abrupt end in 2020. Campbell going even further in his video by wrongly saying for their four top cancers (lung, colorectal, pancreatic and stomach) in Japan there was a decline. There was actually only a fall in the rate of decrease. Read his own notes wrongly! And Dr Oliver says that the paper was wrong about that anyway and she gives the official data for the most common cancer in Japan, lung cancer, which correctly calculates age standardised mortality rates. Trends that did not change after 2020. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...38408933f5.png Only showing a leveling out in 2021 for the lower numbered women in Japan. We don't know about the UK says Campbell. We do. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...c3f2d14337.png Until 2021 a downward trend, possibly a slight increase in 2021. See other England cancer data in yesterday's post. An interesting point is, though most anti vaxxers are not aware of it, the great majority of primary covid vaccinations in the UK were from the AZ vaccine. Which is an adenovirus vector vaccine not an mRNA vaccine. So their mRNA argument has less relevance to the UK. They should rely on boosters from 2021 and many do blame them, though possibly only due to their later timing.. Other countries too don't show cancer death increases after 2020: https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...bdde858c93.png Key: Denmark red, Finland blue, Norway green, Sweden yellow. All trending down in 2021.and 2022, except Norway with a slight increase in 2022. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...b053471ae2.png In one of his shorter videos Dr Wilson notes the Japan study does not compare the vaccinated to the unvaccinated. Doesn't examine any confounding variables ie other factors which could influence both vaccination and cancer deaths. The paper is suggesting a temporal correlation with possibly showing a cause from covid vaccination. He explains that due to the accumulating effects of genetic mutations, and possible effects of carcinogens from the environment, cancer develops over time. So even if there was an effect it would be long delayed. This is what the authors wrote: https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...bf1ca0015a.png "The significance of this possibility warrants further studies" it says at the end. Dr Wilson notes, as Dr Oliver did, that there was a Pandemic going on in Japan in 2022! One factor affecting cancer that was missed was missed diagnosis and treatment, the former especially crucial with cancer. A US study reckoned about 13%: https://health.ucdavis.edu/news/head...vid-19/2023/10 The age factor is shown in this UK data:: https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...ea1cf80cce.png With cancer processes within cells get broken down causing uncontrolled growth. mRNA vaccines are not carcinogens. The spike proteins they generate do not interfere with cell processes. Japan has one of the oldest populations in the world. It was badly affected by the Omicron covid variant in 2022, a milder disease producing variant than those affecting Western countries in 2020 and 2021. But it still had serious effects on an older population, one with more time to develop cancers. I might add that anti vaxxers have also blamed mRNA vaccines for allowing the growth of so called "Turbo cancers". DNA fragments and immune suppression are two arguments they use. The small amounts of DNA fragments cannot interfere with cell processes and helping the immune system to recognise SARS Covid 2 does not affect the body's ability to fight tumour growth. To sum up from these two videos by highly qualified You tubers:: A paper presenting a temporal correlation between mRNA covid vaccination and cancer mortality in Japan came out in a journal with low standing and a history of publishing anti vaxxer papers. It said improvements in mortality up to 2020 had ceased and leveled off.and that mRNA vaccines could well be the cause. It presented temporal correlations with no attempt to look at other factors that could influence vaccinations and cancer deaths. Nor did it look at any other possible temporal correlation. It ignored relevant characteristics of cancer. It suggested mechanisms but these are not accepted as reasons to suspect mRNA vaccines can cause cancer. It didn't reference any differing studies from abroad in terms of cancer mortality trends. Dr Oliver said their data on Lung Cancer was incorrect and did not show any leveling off. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...3fe4618afb.png Dr Wilson presented a graph pinpointing late 2021 when Campbell started talking conspiracies and ignoring the science. Up to then he had presented papers only from respected journals and official data. I think from then he, as a nurse, was struggling to keep up with the science anyway. As viewing numbers increased and he achieved minor celebrity status he started to ignore the science and was drawn to promote conspiracy theories, for which there was already a growing market. Some suggest the much increased You tube income the main reason. I think maybe not the main reason, but I am sure it ensures he won't willingly stop! Re: NCR llockdown
Videos coming thick and fast lately meriting one more post:
https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...f675ec257a.png Dr Oliver previously reacted strongly to these claims, speaking eloquently about her father's recent death. She has now produced another forensic video looking at claims in an article Campbell recently presented here https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...d7a087f17a.png As usual Campbell holds back from saying wide spread euthanasia was going on in the UK. From over use of Midazolam, one of 4 drugs used to ease people through their last days. But that it needs looking into.... Dr Oliver says that the author is an investment banker, A common feature now of Campbell videos lately is that many authors and interviewees have no medical qualifications. The journal is "pay to publish". There are 3 main indexes for medical science articles and this one isn't listed. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...d8d16dae8a.png The author's first chart supposedly showing something suspicious in 2020 and early 2021 Green line cases, red covid deaths. But, especially in 2020, covid testing was being rolled out and the number of positive tests was nowhere near the number of infections. Modelling efforts reckoned many millions of infections in 2020. For the deaths in 2021, when vaccination began, the evidence suggests not being vaccinated was the main factor leading to death from covid. This chart is one of the more easily understandable pieces of evidence Dr Oliver has presented so far on the effectiveness of vaccination against covid death. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...7811bf2494.png Key: Purple unvaccinated, black one dose (no J & J in Aus!), red 2, green 3 or more. https://journals.plos.org/plosone/ar...l.pone.0299844 An analysis of Australia's performance during the Pandemic.NSW the most populous state. Shows clearly the brunt of deaths falling on the unvaccinated. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...a133a1c852.png Campbell claiming the correlation is "tight". Dr Oliver points out it is a one month lag of injections to deaths. No evidence of deliberate euthanasia! Anyway Dr Oliver notes there is such a thing as anticipatory prescribing for end of life care. Which is sensible. Late death registration is suggested by the author as a reason. But ONS statistics show that the great majority of deaths from covid in 2020 were reported in a week or less. Apart from Midazolam other end of life drugs were prescribed more during 2020. Prescriptions of these peaked at the same time in 2020. Given al that the fact that Midazolam use and excess deaths peak close together is not surprising. A final killer point: The MIdazolam prescriptions do not include hospital use! Where two thirds of covid deaths occurred in England and Wales. They were for home or care home use. There was a tendency at that time for over loaded hospitals to refuse admittance or people did not want to be admitted. When at home some Midazolam was for covid sequelae patients, so death may not have been put down as due to covid. Now you could excuse the investment banker author for missing that. Although does he think hospital doctors need prescriptions to give medicines! But what about ex nurse Campbell? His apologists might say he just missed it. Others might say he knew but ignored it as the paper provides another useful piece of anti vaxx propaganda. Why? Because if he can link many more deaths to a drug those, on top of the number he may be claiming caused by vaccination would mean covid deaths from the virus would be much lower. This plays into the narrative that covid wasn't as bad as made out by the government and did therefore did not necessitate mass vaccination. On top of that allegations of money making conspiracies with drug companies by health ministers. There have been attempts by those who also agree that Campbell is a disgrace to his former profession to get his registration removed from the Nursing Council's list. No reports anything came of those. Campbell's supporters will just say Dr Oliver doesn't like him and she is jealous of his much larger numbers of subscribers. Some of you may not know their history. This was only their only video together, some time ago now: All was well for a while after that until the time in 2021 when Campbell started to get out of his lane with the science and Dr Oliver emailed him with some corrections. Cue the extensive library Dr Oliver now has of rebuttal videos of Campbell. To end a few other Campbell videos he's flooded You tube with lately. In my opinion none of any interest on the Pandemic. But if you are interested in conspiracy theories and anti vaxxer propaganda they are worth a quick look: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...ab40be18be.png A House of Commons speech on covid from someone not called Andrew Bridgen. Not altogether clear but he is likely a nurse by training, as he held a nursing supervisory post before becoming an MP. Agrees with Dr Dalgleish on mRNA technology. Says their side effects are much worse than those reported. . https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...61e0621bc4.png An ex barrister with no obvious profession now involved in legal action in Australia. Another non qualified person. But Campbell's followers as usual aren't concerned. His case starts off with statement that mRNA is a genetic material. Which it is not. Completely undermining his case that the mRNA vaccine is a Genetically Modified Organism (GMO). He appears in a second video on a case dealing with vaccine indemnity. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...cab0bd535f.png In the first interview an anti vaxxer rant from a top Irish vascular surgeon. Obviously a publicity seeker, sporting 50 letters after his name. Many claims that he makes don't pass a fact check. Probably getting bored in Ireland. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...eacdccfddc.png Campbell interviews the Irish vascular surgeon again, showing some artery occlusions. Partial or complete blockages which can lead to ischemia for organs ie a shortage of oxygen. The results can range from minor to life threatening symptoms. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...59c5dfd248.png The occluded arteries going to the brain of one of his cases. A person who had had covid twice and covid vaccinations. So what can you prove from that for one case? Reminds me of those embalmer sourced white rubbery clot pictures Campbell showed earlier this year. All good bait to attract ant vaxxer views, who will throw up their hands in horror, Some more covid news and data updates coming later this week. |

Uses an adenovirus vector technology. Shown to have 81% effectivity after 2 doses in phase 3 trials in 2020.. More than 50M doses used in the UK that year.. Sold at cost all round the world and so used mostly by developing countries. Trials were done in the US but it wasn't used there in the end. Some bad publicity over slightly increased blood clotting with low blood platelet (thrombocytopenia) though the risk was concerning only in younger age groups. Very rare...79 cases and 11 deaths at 20M doses in the UK. Under 30s were offered an alternative brand where possible, but early in 2021 this was not always possible. Some European countries paused its use until more data came in. Some then also followed the UK in giving doses to older age groups only. Norway stopped it. Political considerations suspected to have played a part in the decisions of a few European countries post Brexit. Re: NCR llockdown
More recent You tube videos:
Over the past two weeks John Campbell has put out 10 videos by my calculation. This high rate is certainly appreciated by his followers. The nurse seems to have copied a trend of many You tubers and some politicians. Keep repeating your message and eventually people will believe it. Though I think most of his fervent followers will accept almost anything from him...even if he says it only once .But he is also interested in increasing his message to other less committed viewers and expanding his subscriber base. Of course this output rate is only possible if you don't do proper diligence on the subject and only give one side of the story to support the campaign you are running. He is running a number.. For a prolific video output there is the further advantage that other You tubers, who would mostly take longer to craft a video, cannot easily timely respond. One of Campbell's earliest campaigns was the aspiration technique to be preferred for the injection of covid vaccines. It is fair to say that during the Pandemic most covid vaccinators did not use aspiration. The technique was used more in the past and has an obvious advantage in that not injecting into a blood vessel is guaranteed. On the other hand unless the vaccinator is wildly out an injection in the middle of the deltoid muscle will not hit any large blood vessels, Small ones will be fractured. There's also the training and extra time required, especially important in the Pandemic, when new vaccinators were needed.and large populations needed to be vaccinated. So there's not a clear advantage and a number of large health authorities did not recommend it. The WHO and the CDC did not. The NHS seems to have followed the WHO. In Europe only Denmark made it compulsory. What tended to happen in some countries is that vaccinators who had originally been trained in the method continued to do so if they were allowed to and the vaccinated person did not object. On the other hand several commenters on Campbell's video report asking for aspiration and being refused. Campbell's motive in opposing non aspiration was to support his campaign against the mRNA vaccine. As an anti vaxxer he believes mRNA nanoparticles are getting around the body quicker and causing damage by not using aspiration due to injections often wrongly being given into large blood vessels. This would be in addition to their idea that vaccine spike proteins do that anyway, even when the injection is correctly given into muscle Of course for the UK and many other countries he fails to take into account that a large percentage of vaccinations in early 2021 were not the mRNA type. In this video a certain M Girardot explains his "Bolus Theory", which ties in with Campbell's aspiration campaign and explicitly suggests a mechanism to explain a host of vaccine injuries from the method of vaccination. Not just from covid vaccinations, but from all. As we have seen a number of times the interviewee has no health qualifications. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...cc2c01aad9.png You can follow up on the Bolus Theory in the video or it might be easier to look at this article: https://vaxopedia.org/tag/bolus-theory/ https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...ebfbcc832d.png A video inspired by witness testimony taken from the Scottish leg of the UK covid enquiry. Of course he took it as gospel and made no attempt to remind his watchers that there was a judge and a final report to come after the evidence was looked into. With the result that many commenters were calling for the police to immediately investigate a "crime of murder". Campbell obviously felt he had a lot of authority to comment on this from his claimed 40 years experience of nursing. But there were a number of useful comments from nurses who had seen many DNR cases that make it clear Campbell does not properly understand the DNR protocols. Which makes you wonder about the relevance of his nursing experience and whether he might often be claiming experience when he doesn't have any, or it is long ago. A further video came out from him about DNR being used on a 38 year old. Then just today he put out another video on evidence from the Scottish inquiry. This time linking DNRs with Downs Syndrome cases. He has found a rich seam from the evidence there and I expect many moire videos will come as he runs out of them on excess deaths.. It's so easy to focus on inquiry evidence uncritically, as he does. Campbell pounced on the headline UK news about the NHS Blood Contamination Report: https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...7d0a1fce89.png Confirmed in a final report.... but was ongoing from 1970 to the mid 1990s.The inquiry was set up in 2017 and published a report in April 2023 on compensation. At the time Campbell was too busy with his endless excess death videos and didn't say anything about it. That report was the first admittance that a great wrong doing by the NHS had taken place and many people had died as a result, although it didn't go into details on the history. As the report published this month does.. Rather than watch Campbell it's probably better to see the horrific details from the BBC: https://www.bbc.com/news/health-48596605 or from Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contam...United_Kingdom You will read that a lot of evidence has come out gradually since the 1990s. Previously Campbell has criticised the NHS and its staff on the use of end of life painkillers and more recently on DNR orders. Now he had another agency of the NHS in his sights. Adding to an impression he is giving that the NHS cannot be trusted. With the main aim of supporting his claim of covid death exaggeration, therefore the Pandemic wasn't as deadly as official statistics suggest, the vaccines were unnecessary and that really many more deaths were caused by the vaccines. His 3M subscriber base gives him a certain influence and up to now his views on DNR and the blood contamination scandal have not been challenged by other You tubers. I predict... not a riot....but that soon Campbell will say something about blood used in the NHS "contaminated" by vaccine spike protein, DNA and other substance, which anti vaxxers claim are in them. Many ridiculous claims on that are circulating amongst anti vaxxers now. Some medical businesses offer blood detoxing. Some people say they don't know what they will do if they need a blood transfusion. Assuring NHS statements are not enough for them. Will we see anyone seriously ill or even die after refusing blood from the NHS? I think it's only a matter of time. Interesting to see a slightly younger Campbell appearing on GB news talking about problems then with the NHS (worse now) but with a generally supportive tone: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...34ca106033.png https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...0736cd8765.png An hour long discussion with two of Campbell's best chums. Both highly experienced...one in immunology, the other in oncology. Of course you might learn a lot from them...though not necessarily from the presenter! However they are both of advanced age and how do we know what they are saying is agreed to by other top authorities in their fields? Knowledge advances. We also know Dalgleish is developing a cancer vaccine and has a book to sell. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...a7e2530104.png The lady doctor talks a lot and you may just prefer to skip through this one.on blood cells that produce chemicals in response to infection. One is histamine, but some people cannot cope with that. So one new thing for me was to learn some people suffer from anti histamine over production and consequent inflammation. Look at Campbell's notes and see that he expected something about her treating patients after covid vaccine injury to come up. But she said nothing about that in her talk. Another example of Campbell being duped by a doctor or physician by not getting any anti vaxx evidence in return for the publicity they got from appearing on his channel. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...d555bb7c13.png I'm recommending this video from Dr Wilson Debunk the Funk, not so much because you may be interested in the American evolutionary biologist podcaster, well out of his lane on covid vaccines but because in his debunking Dr Wilson explains some aspects of mRNA vaccination and immunology. First, anti vaxxers show slides identifying vaccine spike protein and not another protein called "n protein".in the hearts of deceased patients who have been vaccinated. But Dr Wilson says this isn't proof of myocarditis death from the vaccine.as the non presence of this n protein is not a reliable indicator. And many cases have not had a covid test to rule out covid as a cause.. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...63cf23ec33.png Cytokines are proteins that control inflammation in our bodies, defend us against germs from outside. Too many...sometimes referred to as a "storm"... can lead to too much inflammation and cause autoimmune disease, where healthy body tissues are mistakenly thought to be foreign and attacked. Anti vaxxers seize on evidence that suggests covid vaccine spike proteins are being directed towards the heart and causing vaccine induced myocarditis.. Dr Wilson shows that immune cells are naturally stimulated towards the heart when the body is attacked by germs. Causing myocarditis. Lipid Nanoparticles https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...5c57f26b26.png One thing that anti vaxxers worry about is the time these delivery lipids hang around. Mouse experiment results can be used to estimate the effect on humans.A seventyith of the dose for an adult. About a week in the body. Where do the lipids carrying the RNA go? https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...bd688cf56a.png Its a bit unclear o the chart but the biggest destination in mice was the muscle tissue at the injection site. The next two greatest the lymph nodes. The fourth highest the spleen.....an organ involved in the immune system. The fifth the liver...a natural destination for a fat. Only trace elements elsewhere. So the mRNA does not go everywhere. Definitely not to the heart or the brain. Last Dr Wilson addresses the 2 week "black hole" that anti vaxxers claim hides the true extent of post vaccine death. Easily refuted as that concept is only used to measure vaccine effectivity. The body needs two weeks to adjust immunity after being signaled by the mRNA. It's not applicable to recording vaccine safety. |

PS On the Bolus Theory of M Girardot
The reference I gave turns out not to be helpful. Campbell's references are not either. Anyone can pay to get a book published. Not finding any papers in reputable journals or even any critical commentary from anyone respectable on his ambitious theory this is the best explanation I can find now: https://www.summarize.tech/www.youtu...?v=mbZ6E2rhdcw |
Re: NCR llockdown
Another week's Philippine covid data quietly slipped out:
For May 21-27 with the data for May 7-16 in brackets: New cases 2,235 (877) Serious 22 (7) Admitted 185 (116) This was 10% of he country's hospital admissions. ICU 14% (11%) Non !CU 15% (13%) 20 covid deaths reported but only 5 recent. In the last report 5 deaths reported. For perspective Our World is still monitoring the limited covid data and this is their latest Philippine confirmed case chart: https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...c202167df4.png Other SE and E Asian countries are also not putting out data lately. All do not want to put off tourism. Just an indication from one source that Singapore numbers, 26k a week in early May, have dipped lately. UK HSA data for England: https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...cdc0d1b99c.png https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...b1bb95800c.png Deaths. England and Wales excess deaths: w/e 24 May - 6.1% w/c 17 May - 6.3% w/c 10 May - 16.6% US CDC data https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...1e999dab1f.png https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...d75ebf386b.png ER visits for covid showing a significant percentage increase. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...a93fb51092.png But suddenly there was one. For what happened in detail see a May 29 SS newsletter. https://supersally.substack.com/ But briefly...the hearing was dominated by discussion on the WHO treaty. Excess deaths were only dealt with at the end. SS herself was one representative of the anti vaxxer coalition and she gave her opinion that deaths from vaccination were the cause of excess deaths as they were temporally coincident and there was no other reason for them! There was also a loss of nearly 1M babies, she said. The hearing as a whole did not get reported by the main media outlets, Even if it were briefly discussing excess deaths at the end of the hearing seems a deliberate decision has been made to sideline the issue. The session was suspended by the Chairman so we will see if there is anything substantive on excess deaths to follow. |
Re: NCR llockdown
Some recent covid news from You tube and elsewhere.
https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...20ef55b591.png Many news outlets publicised this BMJ paper from Holland. Went far beyond what it said. Which was just that excess deaths during the Pandemic were large and needed to be looked into. Not that the vaccines were the cause. One such news outlet was The Telegraph: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/202...-excess-deaths A favourite news source for Campbell. Supportive of views against vaccines and other Pandemic control measures. The article did not correctly report the very limited conclusion of the authors. It got so bad that the paper's authors issued a statement clarifying that they suggested no causal link and saying that vaccines contributed to reducing covid illness and deaths. Dr Oliver makes a thorough critique of the paper and Campbell's video. She is especially critical of the paper. In doing so she presents some interesting data. For example: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...7e7c8308fe.png Peaks in excess deaths (red) , following peaks in covid deaths, (blue) ...for 47 countries. (Light orange areas just a device to show the excess). For more detail by country Dr Oliver refers to a study by the epidemiologist Prof Jeffery S Morris of data from 100 countries. Charts taken off X so a bit blurry. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...0d33a8f409.png Covid deaths red line, excess deaths black line, vaccinations blue line. Clearly showing the non temporal correlation of excess deaths with vaccination here. Covid deaths are very uncorrelated with excess deaths for 2021. Rather than always looking to blame excess deaths on vaccination anti vaxxers here refuse to look at late vaccination roll out, clearly shown above, and the low standard of health care. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...b67ce737d1.png Again, for the UK no temporal correlation of excess deaths with vaccination. Rather a clear correlation of covid deaths and excess deaths. This is true for many of the 100 countries selected by Prof Morris. Showing again that the Pandemic, as they have always done, caused many deaths both directly and indirectly. Areas where vaccination was high can be compare with those where it was low, The results here show excess mortality was nearly 3 x greater in the 10 least vaccinated US states than the 10 most vaccinated. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...e0a884e0f1.png The BMJ paper makes a big error with children and covid: https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...0e57868fe9.png Anti vaxxers often claim children were not affected by covid. They were, as seen by US data. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...7f325eb43e.png Even in 2022 and 2023 this chart shows still a good advantage from being vaccinated in the US. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...7a6699fcdd.png A Danish study showing no higher risk for nearly all vaccine SAEs. Except for falling asleep during the day! https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...6ff6d2c869.png Campbell quickly follows up by re-interviewing a Lousiana ER physician. One with a sideline on covid. The Dutch BMJ article refers to his 2022 paper on vaccine SAEs. Dr Oliver notes a number of errors in that paper. She points out that SAEs are ANY serious health events occurring to a person in the trial after vaccination. A 2022 secondary analysis of the Pfizer and Moderna Phase 3 trials came up with 12.5 of these per 10k vaccinations. Some of you may remember Campbell touting a 1 in 800 risk from mRNA vaccination. Dr Oliver says that using this data to assess vaccine harm is not useful.. Apart from including events obviously unconnected with vaccination there can be very small numbers. A patient by patient analysis is preferred. One can add that stage 4 monitoring all around the world also takes place. Coming close to the 10 picture limit. Room for just one more Campbell video. Again riding his vitamin D hobby horse: https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...2c9bf26bed.png Another retired Doc with a book to sell. Another campaigner. He's had a varied career and has had a lot of interests away from health. Also like other similar interviewees of Campbell hardly any journal publications. Prefers books. No inhibitions from saying he takes 100,000 IUs of vit D monthly with olive oil and bread. On top of that 2 vials of another form of vit D. So well over 3k IUs daily. In this thread I have reported a few times on recommended vit D dosage. Lately you can go back to a report on March 4, when Campbell interviewed Dr Grimes, a co author of the book being promoted here. Official recommendations have increased recently but are nowhere near 3k IUs. Capsules are often sold giving only 1k IUs. The recommended amounts vary with age, health factors and sun exposure. But I note that Dr Anderson lives in Italy. His bio data mentions he is a member of the US Endocrine Society. They recently studied the literature on Vitamin D and came to the conclusion that widespread testing of blood levels wasn't advisable: https://www.endocrine.org/clinical-p...ion-of-disease To his credit Campbell asked him about harm from over dosing. Anderson brushed the question off, basically saying there was no risk. Cavalier given this: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition...-d-is-too-much More reporting on videos to come soon. . |

https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...b6e000ff47.png
Dr Wilson also severely criticised the BMJ excess death paper in a shorter video. He goes through a few vaccine safety studies .He then presents some interesting charts: https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...7c9080cc30.png https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...4c08e30019.png NZ had no excess deaths as they were able to combine closing down entry and a high rate of vaccination. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...9781279fbc.png After re opening excess deaths were low. Only 5.1 per 100k. Some reduction caused by the milder Omicron variant but most due to high levels of vaccination. Many deaths, especially in 2020, were caused by poor early treatment. These are the latest US NIH early treatment guidelines: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...f0c0ae72b4.png https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...f73c1b7564.png RFK Jnr is now a US Presidential candidate with around 15% popularity at present. A long time anti vaxxer masquerading now as simply a vaccine sceptic as he campaigns for the Presidency. As many other anti vaxxers also a promoter of many conspiracy theories. Had a good record on environmental law issues before getting well out of his lane early this century on vaccination and lately on covid. Wikipedia details his record: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_F._Kennedy_Jr. You can read there that back in 2017 Trump was even thinking of giving him the chair of a vaccine safety task force! Dr Oliver goes into some detail about his meddling in measles outbreaks in the Pacific early in the 2000s. Against the evidence he denies it. But then he would as he certainly caused lives to be lost then. She doesn't discuss it but following that he joined in Andrew Wakefield's autism claims against the MMR vaccine. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...8c6a67cc8e.png He used Haiti and Nigeria as evidence that vaccinating the majority of the US population gave no benefit in keeping down excess mortality. Dr Oliver points out that people in those countries did not live long enough to die from covid, which mostly killed people in older age groups, most of the 2k a day who died in the US at the height of the Pandemic. RFK also repeated the claim that children did not die from covid. Dr Oliver refutes that. See my post yesterday. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...a62ce2b7be.png He also claims athletes are increasingly dropping dead on the field from heart failure. A 20 year US survey shows a continued decline. A BBC article on RFK https://www.bbc.com/news/world-68447223 A video from Sky News on the activities of anti vaxxers: https://news.sky.com/video/covid-ins...ement-13146509 https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...fb384b881a.png Campbell does something useful by reviewing new mRNA vaccines in development. But spoils it, as he would, by claiming there will be large numbers of many of the same serious adverse reactions he claims without evidence were caused by the covid vaccines. https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/mone...n-trial/story/ I'm not sure if this helps. A committee was asked to define Long Covid. Not user friendly! https://www.nationalacademies.org/ne...-and-treatment |

Covid update:
No case, deaths or hospital data from the Philippines or from other E and SE Asian nations. That can easily be found online, anyway. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...8b24295dba.png Latest UK case data down from 4-500 per week in late June Surveillance is poor but there seems to be a growing "Summer Wave". Perhaps made higher by large scale sporting events like the Euro 2024 tournament? https://www.independent.co.uk/news/h...-b2573767.html The Flirt variant can be difficult to distinguish from hay fever, claims a STAR article: https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/lat...y-new-33183822 More information on these new variants https://www.yalemedicine.org/news/3-...avirus-strains https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...f15e030f03.png Latest weekly UK covid deaths compared to May are up, to over 100. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...8d29e4bfe2.png UK covid hospital admissions lately on the rise to a little over half the numbers they were in January. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...84c00438b9.png A similar picture for the US from the CDC. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...1c99934440.png US hospitalizations and deaths on the rise from recent low levels. https://abcnews.go.com/Health/covid-...y?id=111770385 Although the data is poor the WHO made a covid deaths estimate and gave advice to vulnerable groups: https://news.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/h...n-sharper-1016 Despite what it says the link above will bring you to the WHO statement! https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...0615cfd66e.png John Campbell's videos lately have noticeably been watched by fewer viewers. But this one on declining male fertility was, unsurprisingly, looked at 700k times. Danish sperm bank data alarms him. More data is needed, he says. We need to correlate the Danish data with "anything that happened in those few year periods" Previous to saying that he had put up a graphic of covid vaccinations. The vaccination records are there! You PhDs get on it! As many anti vaxxers do he believes covid vaccinations have reduced human fertility. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...c4a3255059.png Fortunately Dr Susan Oliver shows his claims about bollocks are indeed "bollocks", as the Australians say. Male fertility has been declining for years. She put out another video on this 2 years ago https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...3de820d7bc.png https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...247812f040.png Campbell returning to his well worn topic of excess deaths. Using OECD data to claim there is a continuing alarming number this year and last. You may remember that Campbell does not use the UK statistics on this from the ONS. They made some changes earlier this year which he refused to accept and by doing so misrepresented what one of the most highly respected national statistical bodies in the world were doing to improve the data.. In fact he has held a grudge against them ever since they corrected him over UK death certificates in 2021. OECD data does not reflect UK changes in population and mortality. ONS data does. The most recent weekly ONS excess deaths data is as follows: w/e 28 June -1.8% w/e 21 June -4.7% w/e 14 June -7.3% w/e 7 June -9.4% w/e 31 May -1.5% You can see the other May figures in my June 14 post. All negative. In fact all negative this year. Campbell tries to bolster his case by using Our World excess mortality data for the US Here is the latest chart from them on the UK and US: https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...72f2c69729.png But as you can see they are not giving data for 2024! Although their excess deaths estimates were positive in 2023 the trend is clearly downwards for both countries. The final UK negative percentage indicating the direction in 2024. As far as Campbell's presentation of data is concerned the word "charlatan" comes to my mind. |
Re: NCR llockdown
Covid news update:
Nothing lately about covid here from the DOH. Leptospirosis, yes. The same goes for all our neighbours, except Singapore and Japan:. About 2.5k cases for the island state with a population of about 6M. If we scale up that would mean well over the two thousand cases the last time the DOH here gave a number. Though of course the two states are very different. The number in Singapore is expected to grow. https://sg.news.yahoo.com/3-singapor...160202965.html https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/20...-19-11th-wave/ For England cases falling lately to the 300s https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...62772ede9b.png Covid deaths? https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...f562102eb7.png Some increase with the latest 163 in early July Hospital admissions? https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...033d4ac3bd.png Have also been rising... to 303 in late June. All numbers much less than at the start of the year. Latest England and Wales excess deaths from the ONS: w/e 5 July -4.2% w/e 12 July -2.8% Negative excess deaths continuing. For the US data from the CDC showing increases: https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...78720554d7.png https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...7dd0097f51.png US covid deaths 229 out of total deaths 21k for the w/e 20/7 and 358 out of 36k for the w/e 13/7. Around 1%. For England and Wales it's about 2%. Seems that the decision to rely on Chinese covid vaccines early on here attracted disinformation efforts: https://www.reuters.com/business/hea...ne-2024-07-22/ There is a link to the Reuters report. It notes that the effectivity of Chinese vaccines was lower. But other claims were incorrect. In the UK the first report from the covid enquiry was published: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy9472qxk1vo Selected recent You tube videos: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...5a7cdea965.png Yet another video with Dr Clare Craig. A word or two about her. Looking at her Amazon biography she has had a solid career up to now...studied medicine at Cambridge and Oxford Universities, worked in the NHS for 15 years as a diagnostic pathologist. Worked on cancer with the Genome project. Then in 2020 she decided to give that up and work on covid. She became a lockdown sceptic. She joined the Hart Foundation. A group of anti vaxxers. Though interestingly she does accept that vaccines work. You may remember the Hart Foundation came out with a publication suggesting covid vaccination may be to blame for the rise in long term sickness in the UK. When it has been on a long term rise. Likely all members do not see all its publications but in that group she is certainly associated with some extreme anti vaxxers. She has recently found a useful publicity outlet with many appearances on closet anti vaxxer Campbell's You tube channel, where she is able to promote her book to his many subscribers. Despite her experience over many years in pathology she has moved into the area of epidemiology, biochemistry and vaccines. Maybe a person with her qualifications can bone up on these different areas of medicine, but she is opposing the views of researchers and scientists in those areas. She has no research publications. If you watch her appearance on this video with Campbell she gave the impression she thinks her papers are not accepted because of the views she expresses. She comes out in this video as supporting someone else's analysis of some Czech population data: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...a3c912921d.png The Czech age standardised mortality data by brand clearly shows Moderna higher than Pfizer. For why this is so Dr Craig relies on an analysis by a certain Steve Kirsch. There are links to his analysis you can follow up. The American Tech entrepreneur has a record of giving out covid misinformation. Last year he analysed some leaked NZ data. It was incomplete and his analysis was called out by Dr Susan Oliver in a video. At present this Czech data has not been reviewed by any better qualified researchers. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...4873bd02ad.png Dr Craig also here on this video about LNPs...small particles that can deliver mRNA into cells. The mRNA is larger than molecules that can readily diffuse into our cells. The main reasons why it needs a delivery system. She claims it has to be seriously questioned over its level of toxicity.to cells. I looked briefly at several papers on this. They vary on their assessment of LNP toxicity. But this review of 269 publications concludes with few concerns about toxicity https://www.news-medical.net/news/20...-medicine.aspx Dr Craig has signed on to the Hope Accord, which asks for mRNA vaccines to be suspended. In the face of mRNA vaccines being developed for many infections and many mRNA vaccine manufacturing plants being developed all around the world. Both Campbell and her go through all their worries about this in another recent video "Suspend mRNA". It should be noted that John Campbell's understanding of mRNA vaccines and their delivery is poor and has been called out by Dr Oliver in the past. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...9d88cf7d85.png Surprise, surprise Trump and RFK jnr putting out covid related misinformation. But in explaining why they are wrong Dr Susan Oliver puts out useful information about needles and vaccines. Eg later in the video she explains that vaccines have become more targeted: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...4bef740019.png Childhood vaccines now concentrate on many fewer antigens. Markers that tell the body's immune system that something is harmful or not. |

You tube review:
Starting with Dr Jon Campbell. Purely because he is the major You tube source of coviid misinformation, in the UK at least: He went missing for two weeks. No reason given. But it's maybe what he said in this video 3 weeks ago on Dementia, where he got close to saying Biden had the disease: https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...f1dc4713f8.png So maybe he was suspended by You tube? Support for is that he seemed more careful than he has been in videos before in his most recent videos. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...5acfd19528.png Campbell seized on a paper from lead author Denis Rancourt. Not published in a respected health journal and poblished by a physicist, so not Peer Reviewed. An ex Physics Professor from Canada. A well known anti vaxxer. From an analysis of only 35% of the world's population they conclude that there were double the WHO's estimate of global excess deaths form covid, which the WHO put at 14.9M. The authors do not think the extra deaths came indirectly from covid or pandemic controls! You can guess what they suspect is the culprit. For once Campbell put out a decent effort.... on Mpox. Although he couldn't avoid including repeating his opposition to any possible mRNA vaccine for the disease. As if he's an expert on vaccines! https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...a9efc3ccca.png Although you might prefer to learn about it from this proper doctor on Medcram in a video just uploaded: Haven't watched it yet but he's usually excellent. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...71c6ef8494.png Dr Susan Oliver targeted a well known UK anti vaxxer rogue heart doctor Dr Aseem Malhotra: https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...a57819d1e6.png You can just about see it here. Fifth from bottom. Dr Wilson (Debunk the Funk) joins in against anti vaxxers and others who claim wrong doing with covid vaccines: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...844d7dc493.png https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...ede93b6160.pngC Countering anti vaxxer claims about vaccine safety monitoring. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...cd05166348.png Concerning a recent interview of RFK Jnr. by Dr Phil. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...6170e7a2b5.png The doctor on the right of Dr McMillan is way above Campbell with qualifications and medical experience but still puts out a continual stream of material from which he is very careful to only suggest cast doubt on covid vaccination. He and others have given a platform to the views of Dr Geert Vanden Bossche. A qualified veterinarian who did a Masters in Virology. Well known for his doomsday predictions on the virus and being an anti vaxxer. You can read about them in this article: https://www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/co...vanden-bossche Now most authorities say we're in an endemic covid phase and his dire predictions do not look like happening. Dr Bossche has said he will retire to the country. Give up working on covid, which he has said he has done for 48 months, 7 days a week. Despite my best efforts, he said, governments have failed to take my advice. Yes, that was a good decision on their part. Given that nothing he predicted came true! To his credit Dr McMillan does cover some science on his Vejon Health channel.Even though he looks for clicks from anti vaxxers with it. Recent videos on covid infecting bacteria... but the paper was published 3 years ago. Another video from Vejon Health is better on the effect of antibiotics used in covid treatment on antibiotic resistance. |

Covid news update
Again, no news from the DOH on covid. Mpox cases 15..Nothing also from SE and E Asia. Except Japan going to offer a new vaccine: https://www.manmonthly.com.au/csl-ha...oved-in-japan/ The UK? https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...a26ae9c022.png Cases last week max 243.. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...4cf308ec97.png Latest deaths downward trend in August from about 1,000. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...619fca17a8.png Admissions also down at about 200 a week. England and Wales excess deaths. All negative % July: 2.8 6.4 7.4 Aig 7.0 8.5 11.4 12.2 17.2 Becoming more negative. Mortality displacement must surely have played out now so a bit surprising. Possibly some issues with the ONS new methodology? The US: https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...801db8f0f4.png https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...b6e6fa1779.png Beginnings of a downturn this month. More on videos and news later.... |
Re: NCR llockdown
Covid update cont.
Selected You tube videos First John Campbell...now on the basis of numbers of viewers. Not his content, Lately he has put out 3 from 9 videos about nutrition, Jumping on the JFK jnr bandwagon. This one got 218k views. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...544e8cb5cd.png Campbell and I have talked about the Florida State Surgeon General before. A once competent surgeon who got to be an anti vaxxer. And generally sceptical of controlling viral spread. The result was that his state ended up in 12th position out of the 50 states for covid deaths per 100,000. Lots of aged retirees but also lots of sunshine. Covid became a political issue and he had good support from the Republican governor there. He is against mRNA vaccines and has demonstrated he had no understanding of them. However Campbell's biggest seller was a video about Nanotechnology. But he has now deleted it. Luckily Dr Susan Oliver is an expert on the subject and you can get an idea about it from her video, in which she can hardly stop laughing about Campbell being taken in by an anti vaxx scam academic paper, which fraudulently claimed to be Peer Reviewed. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...3249bd4ebe.png Bit blurry to see, but the authors are a gynecological surgeon and a Prof of Linguistics! The paper has a number of photos like these: https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...55fee9f035.png Some plumbing arrangement? But Dr Oliver says that they were not using a powerful enough microscope to see structures in the vaccine..It needed to be an electron microscope. And they look nothing like that. So, what are they? She doesn't know exactly but suggests dust, dander, microplastics, fungi or bacteria. All contaminants that the two "experts" allowed. Dr Oliver also very easily debunks another video on the E O Nutrition Channel. It got 1.2M views! See the disparity. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...5e28dbbfcf.png https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...b76d5e9796.png Dr Wilson returns to RFK Jnr. The Vejon health channel continues to put out videos which just avoid being being the subject of You tube deletion. This one suggest that the ONS, using their new methodology, have greatly underestimated England and Wales excess deaths. As you see in my last post they have continued to be negative so far this year, and are actually even more negative recently. The proof Dr McMillan puts forward is hospital data. Which for me was not at all convincing. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...bd8c9b3abc.png https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...e9f4a0ef0c.png Another Vejon video in the same vein.. Relies on an article by someone called Eric Poole on Substack only. He might be an ex manager. Nit sure about that though. Of course the vaccines do not stop you catching covid. Many more alarmist anti vaxx videos can be seen on this channel. Re: NCR llockdown
Covid update
For The Philippines and its neighbours no update can be given from easily available online sources. UK data https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...3a5007fbc3.png A downturn on the numbers of cases showing last month. Oct 2 116, Oct 1 307, Sep 30 405....cases. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...cd08ac8a1f.png Deaths Sep 20 at 134 but higher numbers in August. Latest covid death data shows 1.4% involved covid and in 1.0% it was the underlying cause. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...c4834e4218.png Admissions latest at Aug 29 was 233, well down from the July peak. England and Wales excess deaths continue to all be negative percentages in September: w/e 6th 9.0 13th 14.4 20th 13.7 27th 10.7 USA data from the CDC https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...cb2d201efa.png https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...5160d879d6.png Some You tube videos: https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...93e311dab8.png The presenter very happy to give another airing to this non medical professional selling his books on Amazon. The link to Campbell's much pushed claim that vaccination aspiration is linked to vaccine harm is not the only one M.Girardot makes but it is obviously the reason why his Bolus theory, not in any peer reviewed medical journal, again makes an appearance. The problem is that aspiration is generally seen as a medical procedure, taught as standard practice years ago, but one which is now viewed as unnecessary. Not employed during the height of covid in large areas of the world. Though osed by certain vaccinators trained in the past in the technique. It was recommended in Denmark for a while. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...05da49d2d9.png A video by a Canadian medical practitioner clearly explains why it is an unnecessary practice. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...22f80e7a6f.png Another Danish link here as Dr Campbell again gives a platform to Dr Manniche, where she compares Pfizer data from a previous study she did claiming SAEs were batch dependent in Denmark to one she has now done on comparable Swedish data. The problem is that her previous Danish study was comprehensively discredited: https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...1d35affb5e.png Another typical example of clickbait from the Vejon channel. Its content similar to that seen in Campbell's channel. Dr McMillan of Vejon Health, on the face of it, presents an autopsy study linking covid to clots seen by surgeons and embalmers. He is obviously several steps up from being a nurse, as Campbell is, but that makes his videos all the more misleading. As he begins by praising other authors who have claimed links to clots from covid vaccination, including on retired US Air Force major. The paper of a study of 3 cases of large pulmonary artery clots makes no mention of covid vaccination. But that is something Dr McMillan does, if you listen carefully. Covid vaccination has not been shown to form clots in the living and the claim of some embalmers to have found clots previously unknown to medical science has also been shown to be unfounded. So misinformation continues to come out from these two channels. There is a lot more there if you look. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...6bb31cd47c.png But Dr Seheult of Medcram continues to give good advice. Here he continues to encourage us to get more exposure to sunlight. Some interesting covid articles :https://www.news-medical.net/news/20...and-death.aspx https://www.kcl.ac.uk/news/long-covi...thcare-workers https://www.independent.co.uk/life-s...-b2625764.html And also you cannot fail to see online what presents former President Trump gave to Vladimir Putin during covid! |

So did I and I take a low dose. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...0f206c61ce.png ...who is Dr Aseem Malhotra. A well known spreader of covid misinformation. Here it is his Statins misinformation which is of interest. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...405d6a4eb4.png Malhotra makes a number of false claims about statins in this video. The main one being that statins do not decrease your cholesterol. Before Dr Oliver gets to them she explains that LDL is a proxy for the amount of cholesterol carrying particles in our blood. It is a good one, she says. She refers to "Q risk 3": https://www.qrisk.org/ A way of assessing future CV disease. Necessary to know where you are starting from with risk factors. She says many large scale studies have confirmed it does lower your cholesterol (it did mine) and the risk of CV disease, as shown in the graph above. Dr Oliver looks into what Campbell has previously said about his health and concludes his CV risk is not low and could be of concern...especially if he is presently taking statins and stops them. As he says he will in the video. She also debunks an already much criticised BMJ research paper Malhotra authored years ago. And still relies on it today. Her conclusion: satins will reduce your cholesterol and. importantly, the benefits increase over time. Of course the big news this week for health was Trump's pick for US Health Secretary...RFKJnr. He has yet to be confirmed but I suggest the odds are strongly in favour of that, one way or another. Assuming he is. and concentrating on his record and pronouncements on health and medical science. you can revise them by looking at three recent posts here: 2141 2145 2147 https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...a554bf087d.png Also...Dr Oliver has updated her playlist of videos on him and his views. PSA VITAL STATISTICS UPDATE
Data courtesy of Super Sally....someone who has been a reliable source of PSA data since 2020. Her data analysis is another matter! You can receive her emails for free https://supersally.substack.com/subs...m_medium=email Birth data In her Feb 10 email: 2023 data close to being complete. Only January and February 2024 data is reliable. In 2023 births slightly down on 2022. 58.2% to unwed mothers. January 2024 births were down by 26% on 2019 but births in that month especially subject to late registration. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...87305ea087.png The downward trend from around 2010 continues. To her credit SS does not now blame covid vaccination for the recent further falls in Philippine births. Though in a later email sent Feb 19 she does suspect it was an important factor in global births. Strange as covid vaccination did not occur at all in many parts of the world, The date is from Our World In Data, who she suspects is inaccurate! But they are a very well respected source. 2019 births 138.6m 2022 births 132.48m 2023 births 132.11m As you can see her problem is that 2023 births were estimated as nearly the same as for 2022! Deaths data 2023 Philippine deaths were up 2,2% on 2022. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...e0fcc2b929.png https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...d2f2585a64.png Females doing far better. Regional Deaths NCR 2023 up 4.4% on 2022 Worst region...Ilocos up 5.6% Best region...Central Visayas down 3.1% SS has rowed back on births and covid vaccination but not on deaths and covid vaccination. A belief founded on mainly temporal correlation plus anecdotes. Ignoring the temporal correlation with covid itself. SS on 19 Feb also emailed on Hong Kong, Malaysia and Japan. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...9f8cb279d5.png https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...24d516489b.png https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...7ea29e9d4c.png Hong Kong with falling births and increasing deaths up to 2022. But both changed direction somewhat after. Japan with a more pronounced births decrease since 2015 and a deaths increase since 2020. To come.... a few You tube videos. |
Re: NCR llockdown
SOME YOU TUBE VIDEOS TO WATCH
Dr John Campbell has continued his anti covid vaccine approach this year. But his most recent video was on one of his favourite topics...vitamin D. There were two other videos early in January but this one took my notice: https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...e5fa6d7ae5.png The NHS and the US CDC recommend only 800 IUs a day. So Campbell has taken at least 5 times the recommended dose. So he was really concerned that a home test showed him to be at blood levels of 10 to 30 nmol/L. The NHS and the test he bought say sufficiency is reached at 50nmol/L. Quite a way under so he can't really blame the test. He is correct in saying that there isn't enough winter sunlight in the North of England to improve his level. His idea to go from 8,000 to 12,000 IUs a day seems to run the risk of toxicity?. The NICE guidelines in the UK do not recommend vitamin D testing unless you are asymptotic. Eg have bone density issues. But Campbell has presumably talked to proper doctors who have convinced him that vitamin D is needed to prevent serious illness in old age. Thought I'd look around for more views on the benefits of vitamin D and supplementation dosages. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...d05247d3eb.png The interviewing doc and the lady PhD biochemist not recommending high supplementation levels.when asymptomatic. The other benefits gained to health when regularly going out and exposing skin to the sun can be significant. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...0c1ab97d16.png The OmegaQuant Lab seems to be something of a charity. But the qualifications of the presenter are not given. Anyway, a level of only 30 nmol/L is described as a "Goldilocks" level. Meaning the best you can get. No point in increasing it. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...657b12534a.png I've recommended some more recent videos from this doctor before, under the banner of "Medcram". He says that the evidence on the non immunological vit D extra benefits is not there, or at least wasn't 3 years ago. However he is encouraged by studies on covid which showed a good association between taking vit D supplementation and preventing, surviving that infection. He suggests that could be a good proxy for the prevention of diseases like cancer and heart disease. He is not concerned about toxicity. He says vit D is one of the least toxic supplements. Even at high levels. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...dce07653cf.png Dr Grundy says the UCal San Diego Vitamin D research unit recommends the average American needs just under 10.000 IUs a day! He himself says he takes a short burst of 150.000 IUs a day for 3 days if he feels he has a "scratchy throat or runny nose"! He said he's not dead yet and I checked....he isn't. Though to me he looks older than his age of 74 years. Worth noting he is cited for misinformation on covid and another area in his Wikipedia entry. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...7d81383f66.png I thought this was an impressive video in that Dr Ekberg explains well the so called "non classic" benefits of vitamin D. The classic one was the prevention and treatment of rickets. The "non classic" benefits include immunity, prevention of cancer, auto immune diseases, dementia. He calls it a "biomarker of chronic disease and frailty". Now, to go back to Campbell's dilemma D Eckbeg lists some "co factors" which he help vitamin D work. They include 1. Healthy food. 2 Exercise 3.Vitamin D 4. Magnesium 5. Fatty acids Omega 3 6 Zinc He concludes that most people wont need to take over 5,000 IUs a day. 10,000 IUs is too much. Many will be OK with blood levels of 50 to 80 nmol/L Blood tests are necessary. So "You pays your money.....etc etc" In terms of paying for tests...if you can...Seems not much point if you have good health. But to be safe it seems there's no big problem in taking high doses in terms of toxicity.. Just maybe the cost, inconvenience and maybe your stomach? https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...30ae0c0b49.png Dr Oliver presents her usual high quality review of a topic. In this case childhood vaccination. Relevant with the appointment of RFKjnr to the US DOH. |

Back to covid with a different link it seems blood group had some effect as type O less likely to catch it, type A more. Anyway having a good vitamin D level plus most of the other co factors that Eckberg lists in his video seems to tick a lot of disease boxes. |

Never mind the poor eating sardines. I consume one Pan de Manila jar of sardines per week because they are the best source of calcium for seniors.

COVID UPDATE
No data to be found from any country in the region. But see later for continuing UK and US data. Two articles on Thailand and Japan: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-025-85324-4 https://www.asiaresearchnews.com/con...id-19-pandemic For England: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...f8b7011c14.png Cases less than 2 per 100k population per week. Deaths https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...915c3acfed.png Recently at about 60 per week. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...f802114469.png Hospital admissions recently at a little over 100 per week. England and Wales Excess Deaths Have recently stabilized at a little below zero: w/e 21 Feb -5.5% 28 Feb -3.7% 7 Mar -1.0% Consistently less than 1% involving covid. For the US.....data has thankfully not yet fallen to RFKjnr's or DOGE's axe! https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...b197532ccd.png Testing down and ER visits also down on the last data shown here. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...bae2036b08.png Hospitalizations and deaths both well down. Super Sally has recently offered up more data in her emails....and subjected it to an anti vaxx analysis: PSA vital statistics Philippine deaths: 2024 data only to Aug/September. Deaths for the year will possibly be up a little on 2023. Birtths: More dramatic...already down 13%...so likely down for the year somewhat. 58.2% of births were out of wedlock! Bulacan......A province given special attention as a teacher was concerned about future employment in the province! https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...88811e3193.png Ignoring her suggestions about the reason for the temporal correlation for both deaths and births this chart shows a gradual decline in births and some increase in deaths over the last decade. But Philippine births have been falling nationally for quite a few years, faster during covid. With the House investigation into Philippine excess deaths now seemingly moribund anti vaxxers like SS look to find anything they can to subject vaccinations to suspicion of harm. In this case pediatric vaccinations. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...50446bc467.png This data is likely showing a correct picture for the timing of infant deaths here. With a late peak on the second dose of the Hepa B vaccine. SS suggests some really serious harm from that. I looked it up and that vaccine has given no problems in the UK since 2017. The US CDC say safe and effective. So unless there are some vaccine production issues which only affect doses supplied here there seems no basis. Perhaps the way they collect the data?. A selection of some relevant You tube videos coming tomorrow. |
Re: NCR llockdown
Some recent You tube videos
https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...cfd93e85a1.png Dr Campbell sought a second vitamin D test from his GP (see my previous video post) and was relieved that it showed he was normal, 102 nmol/L vs 75 for the supermarket bought test. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...087a140b8d.png Negative immunity can result only from lack of sleep but of course Dr Campbell wants to involve his long time Australian immunologist, Dr Robert Clancy, another pal of his, who tries to push the idea that it can be caused by too many vaccinations. An idea not generally supported. He provides a link to a non peer reviewed Canadian paper which only looked at those over 60 years of age and whether repeated covid boosters had reduced their long term immunity. Their timid conclusion is only that the mRNA vaccines produced "meaningful, albeit limited .and short term protection against covid hospitalization". On a similar topic...cancer in the young..the conservative Fox News interviewer Tucker Carlson talked with a certain Dr Soon Shiong. Normally I wouldn't bother to look at anything involving Tucker Carlson, he would be a red flag or light. But Dr Shiong is a respected pancreatic surgeon. However I think he deserves an amber light. Another example of a surgeon who's appeared on Campbell's channel over the last few years, who gets well out of his lane. So here Dr Shiong talks about a number of young patients he has seen with cancers, often fast growing he says.Though he provides no statistics as to whether his patients were representative of a much larger population. He puts it down to inflammation caused by repeated infections and the spike proteins from vaccination. The immune system gets out of balance. He quotes some fancy terminology. He relies on studies from a group of researchers in California for that. No papers are cited. Campbell provides a long introduction, It looks like he is reading from something. He is unqualified so not much weight can be given to what he says about immunology. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...ffe342967b.png A short video from Dr Wilson. RFKjnr becoming US Secretary of Health has resulted in renewed interest in his generally non scientific beliefs. One is that measles and other infections are not caused by germs but by a "miasma"..ie vapor. Remember back in time it was said people went down with "a touch of the vapors"?. Dr Wilson also looks at the autism claims against the measles and rubella vaccine for kids. Despite the Texas outbreak RFKjnr has still not come out and recommended it. Only that vitamin A can help. A recent paper tried to put new life into autism claims which were debunked years ago. It is found very deficient by Dr Wilson. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...fcf73dad74.png Last, Dr Wilson looks at another paper which caused some excitement amongst anti vaxxers: https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...5a9ea4bd84.png Is Post Vaccine Syndrome (PVS) a thing? Similar to Long Covid? They compared 42 self reported sufferers to 22 healthy people. Unfortunately many social media influencers have drawn the wrong conclusions from this very limited study. The conclusion of the study is only that more investigation of PVS is needed and Dr Wilson is also critical of some of the tests used.. Dr Wilson explains all in his usual comprehensive manner. |
