Hello Vital and all. We have not stopped for breath. Arrived in Late July last year following family breavement. We moved out of temporary accomodation and rented the house Pamela Stevenson grew up in on Takapuna beach. :-) Nice, spacious and clean for our new baby girl !! Lynda the new Kiwi.
We had jobs before we came Julie in Transportation consulting and myself in PPP consulting. We are looking towards Walkworth to get a section of land and build an eco house and ended up meeting 10 people with the same idea so it might be an estate of eco houses now and a consortium !!
6 Month review:- ....bought a car,,,,should have imported from Japan.......Started growing veg...always free from the soil..- veg is $$$ at supermarkets...Fejioa fruit....heavenly discovery......Lion Red touched my lips and I could hear the theme tune to the advert for Double diamond (70's beer)...
NZ wine nice but over priced for the Kiwi at home...same as the milk. Houses spatial and great in some locations but not balanced with 'affordable homes' as yet. Transport...massive need for high speed light rail to airport and harbour crossing.....Solar power 'should be mandatory' although wet backs are great for toasting muffins and mallows............the Hungi and the Hui ...just catching up to it all with interest....Found battenburg and jaffa cakes ..Nice !........John and Julie...
