Sponsorship - Graduate & Experienced
Hi!
I was hoping somebody could advise about the sponsorship visa requirements, ie 457 visa. The Graduate nurse programs I have looked at say that they do not sponsor (eg Ramsay) for the grad nurse programme (adult nursing) but that overseas students can apply for their own visa (assume a graduate visa).
If you apply as an experienced nurse, how many years experience do you need under your belt...1, 2, 3 years?
Thanks for any advice.

Re: Sponsorship - Graduate & Experienced
Apologies - have just done a search on this and seen some of the posts below...seems you can apply to state health depts, say QLD health, and they do sponsor for new grads...if spaces available after local graduates have been placed first.
OH wants to study in OZ and we not sure about living there permanently so therefore we not sure about applying for PR - the 457 would suit our circumstances perfectly. It will be our second time round in Australia! Still have a ways to go before qualifying but always good to know the facts in advance.
I cannot delete this thread so thought I would answer my own question...sorry for time wasting.
