registration with nbsa how long did yours take?

Hi i appled about 6 weeks ago for my nursing registration in SA (modified as done anmc skills assessment) Just wondered how long people waited? It says on letter they sent me could take up to 3 months anyone had it sooner?

I've done the NBSA registration first and then the modified ANMC assessment, so I dont know whether this info will help you, but mine at the NBSA was quick as it only took ONE month!

does anyone recommend doing reg first then skills assessment or the other way is one way faster/cheaper

It is definitely cheaper to do registration first and then ANMC assessment, not sure about whether it is faster. I found NBSA very effective, fast and easy to register with.They also only need copies of documents (NOT certified copies) which also mean you are saving a few £'s and the effort to get the copies certified etc.Apparently NBV is VERY pedantic even about the way the copies are certified etc, so in comparison the NBSA was a walk in the park!
