Default Please help which visa!

Hi

Really need some info for a friend. She's a RGN with several years experience, 29 years old, wants to move to Melbourne and would like to know what would be her best option visa wise? She does not want a temporary visa of any kind and so is looking for a PR visa. Can those who've been through the process please advise on what the best route is please

Skilled independent (136?) would seem the best

Skilled Independent (subclass 136) is likely to be the best option. She has total flexibility in terms of where she lives and based on the facts, should not have a problem obtaining one.

Victoria would probably nominate her for a state-sponsored visa, (134 or 137) but then she would be committed to living in VIC for 2 years and she might prefer the flexibility that 136 gives.

That said, http://www.liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au has useful information. Plus of course, http://www.immi.gov.au
