Paediartic nurses - Perth

Paediartic nurses - Perth
Wonder if anyone can help me - I am a paediatric nurse moving to Perth hopefully in about 8 weeks. I have just been granted my visa, and thought I should probably get registered with the WA nursing board!!
I have contacted them today to clarify what 'divison' to apply under as a paediatric nurse. Apparently WA does not allow direct registration for paediatrics - I need to first register with another state, then apply to WA under the Mutual recognition scheme. No problem, but which state to choose?? To be honest I have no idea if it will make much of a difference which state I initially register with, but it would be great to hear if anyone has had a similar experience and what they did!!
