Just thought I'd post this ....
DIMIA have lost our 2nd set of medicals! Both tracked and traced, both signed for, both f**kin' lost!
Gonna give the forum, thoughts of Oz and most probably life a wide berth for a while ....

The first set showed up though after a while so I guess these will too.

So sorry to hear about your medicals, I can only imagine how cheesed off you must be feeling! I might be ignorant but if they found your first lot is that not good enough for them.

To everyone who replied THANKS! It really really did mean a lot!
The very next day it was sorted, with an email for our visa, and today our Yellow envelope arrived, and the passports of off for stamping today!

Funny you should ask! I started to panic yesterday as we hadn't heard a thing so got Hubby to check his credit card. They took their money on 2nd Nov.

Was wasting time today and stumbled over this !!!!
For those of you who have just started and have time to read a few pages , go for it. We all went thru' the same things on this thread and to put it all in perspective for you , it all started just over a year ago and now almost all of us are here in Oz and have been for several months !
It does happen for nurses and , as you can see , very quickly once the ball is rolling !
This made me laugh and feel sick at the same time as I reflected back on the emotions of the whole thing.

Tis thread was in full swing when I started 'the process' - and now I'm on part 2 - going from 457 to PR (nearly there)
Met some good people - some still around, some not - but all thought of..
Good luck, and have happy lives all - all I can say, is yes...it is worth it
