Default Flexible working in Australia

How obliging are Australian hospitals as far as flexible working is concerned if there is such a demand for nurses?

Do they accept arrangements like 2 nights a week, long days or only early or late shifts? Are they 'family friendly' in this way?

Thanks

Sarah

Easier than UK lot's of bank or agency work around and it is more the norm for half staff to be permanent and the rest bank etc.

From what I have heard from friends, they are very obliging. As long as you are upfront about what you want to work then they will work around you. They want you to work for them.
